It's a bunch of pseudo-intellectual manchildren who were never taught how to view themselves realistically. You may know a lot of stuff, but what can you do? Sperging on the internet about how women should be considered property again and black people should be slaves isn't an accomplishment, it's LARPing being a dictator. Also, most of the "science" they use to justify their beliefs has long since been disproven. But since we're voicing utterly reprehensible beliefs, let's round up all the Neoreactionary types and subject them to the system they want to inflict on others. That might change a few minds.

If anything in my experience its been Euros with a sprinkling of Americans. Typically from smaller European nations that wanna act like they are relevant on the world stage in a big player way, so Belgium, Greece, Netherlands, etc. "My land is filled with history, which is why I don't even have to bother looking any of it up. Are you familiar with the Veil of Ignorance? It's a philosophical argument that says if you're going to construct a new social system, you should do so from the perspective that you have no idea what your role or status would be in the new society. You might be the head honcho, or you might be the guy who cleans the sewers. Given that, most people would design a society that is as fair as possible to everyone, regardless of class. I have yet to hear a good answer to the question "what if the king decides you're a threat to his power and has you executed?"

There is also a reason why they have in a warning in their general information not to post German blobs (pics showing off how big you made your German empire). Because with out that it would literally just people spamming their German empires and never doing anything else. Because these are the kinda fags that would only just play Germany a million times over and that is it. Without this constant culture shitting on wehraboos in grand strat and other historic games it would literally just be these fags constantly shitting everything up.

It could never sustain a thread since the barriers to even understand what they're talking about are pretty high, but the amount of drama and stupidity that comes out of grand strategy games is absolutely ridiculous for what they are.
It's not just limited to /gsg/ either, I remember SA's Slowbeef once mentioning that, contrary to what anyone would expect, the largest share of reports came from threads about historical strategy games, and they were almost impossible to deal with because none of the mods had any idea if a post about some Serbian historical figure was racist or not.
The official Paradox Interactive forums also used to be rife with people flaming eachother over hundreds year old conflicts as if they had never ended. For better or worse the developers have really cracked down on wrong-think since their games started exploding in popularity, though some of them are almost cowish themselves.

In addition to political spergs, these games attract the worst kind of autists who take roleplaying as their country - or even home city in some cases - very, very seriously.

He is a Nick Land acolyte. Post Charlie Kirk, he literally lost his mind. He now has the reasoning skills of a woman with histrionic personality disorder. He wants Trump to claim absolute power now, now and NOW. Trump should all constitutional constraints, proclaim marshal law, arrests all dissidents because Charlie Kirk got shot and Trump almost got assassinated twice.

What did you say? The Charlie Kirk assassin was arrested is in jail and at best he's associated with a few troons and furries. Oh you sweet summer child! Trump needs to claim absolute power and imprison all his detractors. Never mind the rule of law and jurisprudence we upheld by centuries. You see Tolkien's ring of power is not an indictment of absolute power corrupting absolutely. I know of this guy for a long time... He is a Moldbug/Curtis Yarvin acolyte. He was a bit hot for awhile during the inital 2016 MAGA wave, when Sargon of Akkad was edgy and relevant. He collaborated with even more minor reactionaries and formed two failed projects "The Canis Society" and "Via Obscura Media".

He is is essentially an arrogant leftist turned tradcon catholic. If anyone were to LARP as a catholic as to use an ancient institute to put gravitas onto your retrograde blind appeal to power it is him. He dreams of the day where the King will arise to power, quench all his enemies. He will either be a Lord, high ranking aristocrat or nobelman. He will not be Alexander the Great's chief eunuch. You the great unwashed masses, those living in suburbia, those in flyover country, the midwest are rightfully surfs. You don't matter. This is in direct opposition to catholic teaching BTW.

His magnum opus is "The Panda Express question". Do you wagies working a menial job have a soul or does your life have any inherent worth? No you silly fools, your life is worth nothing. Both of them have moved away from NRx. Dave Greene is a Catholic with a lisp who stops short of being a dissident. Auron MacIntyre is The Blaze's answer to Tucker Carlson.

NRx is not a real philosophy. It is an attempt to reinvent neoconservatism for the internet age. Curtis Yarvin and Bill Kristol want the same things: a technocratic, authoritarian state that denies rights to ordinary citizens, punishes antisemitism with deadly force, and supports Israel. Malevolent benefactors fund both.
