It's a long story with a ton of autistic twists that has caused a lot of people to return to NeoGAF. It is peak internet drama/degeneracy. Hard to quickly sum up.

Some of the moderators appear to be on a ban happy streak with the users going into full on nuclear meltdown. The mod is probably still going to be burnt at the stake for daring to say anything other than "thank you" for being told to fuck themselves six ways from Sunday.

I'm tempted to buy it now; originally I wasn't interested if it was basically just another Witcher-style game but "cyberpunkd".

Pretty much, I can see people who are totally friendless being desperate enough to seek something like that out, sad as it is from the perspective of a comparatively well-adjusted normal person.
Anyone who "enjoys" claiming to be a victim just for the sake of it is a sociopath; that's fairly well-documented psychology.
