For crying out loud. I keep getting reminded what our society has become. The Ukraine/Russia conflict is the new Covid Vaccinations. Ukrainian flags are the new "I got vaccinated" sticker. That's literally the only place, 4chan, Resetera, and Gematsu are having fucking aneurisms over elden ring and are trying to portray it as a flop and playstation's last gasp of relevancy, despite doing the same stuff when Tales of Arise came out because it had no Switch port.

These people need to play King's Field, Fromsoftware needs to put the 4 games out in a newer format. Maybe throw Shadow Tower in as a bonus. It helps understanding the logic of the souls series and where it originated. Demon's Souls is still the easiest to get into and actually finish, it's a short game. Personally I'm not finding ER that much different in terms of difficulty than previous ones, the games are a bit like monster hunter where you wind up just getting used to them and it becomes second nature.
