Neko Atsume is that game I’m always looking at and when people see me messing with my phone they’re always like “What’re you playing?” and my response is “Just ... uh ... checking Facebook.”

Right now, I’m trying to catch Ramses the Great, St. Purrtrick and Frosty, but there’s no more snow, so I think I may have missed out on him (unless I need to just have snow-related goodies out? I don’t know!) Guy Furry makes me irrationally angry, with that smug pose of his.

Edit because it won’t let me upload a picture of my yard.

There was a new update that fixed bugs, so I tested to see if it fixed the problem with Bonito Bitz. Peaches was one of the first cats to come so yeah, I'd say it fixed the bug.

What was the bug with Bonito bitz? I rarely buy them

I finally got st purrtricks memento and bought all the remodels. Western is of course the shittiest one, the stupid cactus obscures some of the cats.
I still need mementos from lady meow meow, Ms fortune, frosty, peaches and kathmandu. I think kathmandu comes around the least but the only fancy food I really use is ritzy bits so that might have something to do with it
 
I have pictures of all of the cats. I only need mementos from the rare ones now. The only mementos of rare cats that I have are Tubbs, Mr. Meowgi, and Senor Don Gato.

Yeah, you'll need sashimi for Lady meow meow and Kathmandu. Frosty and peaches just take a lot of patience.

BTW, love the new pose they introduced for kitties.

Darn, I was trying to save for sunken fireplace. But mementos are more time consuming.
Looking at how many visits rare cats had before giving memento. Some took fewer than ten visits, but guy furry and St purrtrick took 40 each! I think it's completely random. Hope the sashimi helps, I don't want to wait 40 visits for kathmandu.
 
Are there animated gifs of this in action?
It looks cute but my sped phone can't do much.

IME the number of visits before they give you a memento is pretty random, some give you one after five visits, other take forever.
Kathmandu came around pretty often but it was months before I got his memento, his was the last one I needed to complete the full set.

It's not very heavy on graphics. Most of the cats' poses are static, there's just a few simple animations of them batting at a toy or whatever.

I guess I got lucky because I got kathmandus memento yesterday shortly after posting :)
I'm trying hardest for frosty's memento right now, I replaced the temari ball and lacquered bowl with stuff she likes. She is one of my favorites
 
There's been a big update with new cats, new furniture and a new house!

man this game is so generous. It was so easy to save up for the yard expansion
i kinda wanna buy some gold fish so i don't feel like a cheapskate
