Jussi Halla-Aho, a slimy-looking immigration critic, became the leader of the Finns party (populist, anti-EU, formerly True Finns party. Sorta if the True Nords from Skyrim were lame and ineffectual). He's a controversial figure, who's had to pay fines for blasphemy against Islam and advocating against Somalis - because he wrote mean things on the internet (link in Finnish, sorry).
Finns is one of the majority parties in the government with the National Coalition Party (pseudo right-wing party) and the Centrists (centrist kleptocrats), and all was well when Timo Soini, a jolly fat populist, led the Finns. However as he stepped down and Halla-Aho was elected, all hell broke loose, because Halla-Aho is an EVIL NAZI AND A RACIST, and therefore cannot be worked with.
After very short negotiations, the government basically flipped the table. They'll try to work out something, but most likely we'll get new parliamentary elections. Every media outlet tells how the Finns have lost all their supporters, and how Halla-Aho must be thrown out immediately. We all know how these kinds of news campaigns go.
Tldr; the Finnish government collapsed because a man wrote mean things about Islams on the internet 10 years ago.
