Well, I hope he doesn't die because I was hoping that the trial would be entertaining. I know Judge Thurston revoked his pro se status but still I won't put it past him to make a dramatic outburst.

I'm not sure what he has but there's a good chance he doesn't get healthy enough to go to trial.

Yeah, pretty much. And that's probably the best option for him. I don't think he'd be able to afford the round-the-clock healthcare he seems like he needs, and when he's in federal custody his mom doesn't pay the medical bills. The taxpayers do.

I want my tax dollars going into force feeding him until he is healthy, then placing him in a lifetime of solitary confinement where he will continue to be force fed so he will never be able to starve himself to death. Water boarding counts as proper hydration, right?
 
Apparently according to fukurou, one of the only people Larson was in personal contact with, Larson passed away on September 18th.
His sister apparently announced his death and claimed a coroner's report is pending
(Screencaps were sent to me by someone following Larson updates, they aren't mine)
I can't find any info or announcements online so maybe take this with a grain of salt.

Someone using Larson's username- registered before the arrest- was posting 'hunger strike' related shit on fukurou's forum yesterday. I mean, it's possible that someone else is posting on his behalf.

But, given how much the US government loves pedophiles, and how much they protected Nathan over the years, probably he was just openly posting on an incel forum from hospital.

It would be nice if some prisoner took care of business and saved the tax payers a shit ton of money but I have my doubts. Nathan has been fairly high profile in a couple of the papers local to where his victim lives and neither have any recent mention of him, let alone him dying. People don't just die in jail awaiting trial and it be quietly dealt with, that shit makes the paper even if it's not a somewhat high profile case.

Edit OK I apparently haven't read all the updates to this (fucking trannies), here's hoping he's rotting somewhere never able to harm anyone ever again. I hope they just throw him in an unmarked pit so the paedo incel brigade don't have some shrine to visit.

I can't decide whether I hope he's dead or alive really. I just hope if he exists, he's suffering. He's such an evil piece of shit.

I'll gladly throw a party and dance on his worthless grave but I want to make sure he's definitely dead and not still rotting in jail.

If he really is dead, I'm surprised the government didn't get confirmation and drop the charges. Isn't that what usually happens when a criminal defendant dies?
 
It's highly likely that he's dead. Larson had a status conference scheduled for September 23rd. Two days before the conference, it was taken off of Judge Thurston's calendar. There are no more filings in the case, no scheduling orders, no Speedy Trial Act extensions as one would expect from an ongoing criminal proceeding.

These are the last few items on the docket:

The government usually takes months to get around to filing the actual paperwork.

Generally they dismiss a case against a dead person. So if he's actually dead that will soon be reflected in the record.

I forgot to mention that I received a redacted copy of Larson's manifesto last month. It was authored in 2021 and gives some insight to his motives.

We're in the "midst of a Jailbait Revolution," he says. Larson apparently considers this kidnapping as an act of civil disobedience and describes himself and the 12-year-old girl as "Freedom Flyers". His intentions were to have sex with the girl and then march on Washington, D.C., in the hopes that the "sight of such a cute couple" would pressure Congress to legalize child pornography and abolish age of consent laws. Larson also hoped that he could bring his case up to the U.S. Supreme Court and ask that they overrule New York v. Ferber (1982) and Osborne v. Ohio (1990). Yeah, it's pretty fucking nuts.
