I wonder what these loons would make of Ignition! by John Clark, which details about fifty years worth of chemists trying to find the ideal chemical combinations to get a rocket motor to explode just right.

I would heartily encourage them to discredit this research by combining a container of gasoline and some fluorine, preferably with a camera running.

What's also silly about "NASA faking it" theories is NASA contracts work out to various companies and other organizations. If there were a conspiracy to cover up a huge fact about Earth or space, they'd have to maintain it with the organizations they work with. And good luck getting space agencies and organizations of other nations to play along.

Pretty much all conspiracy theories are based in an abject ignorance of human nature and the impossibility of keeping any really big secrets once you get above, maybe, three people. And two of them are dead, as Benjamin Franklin used to say.

Dave Barry once said, succinctly, "It's not that I don't think the Government would try to hide dead aliens if they found them, I just don't think they'd SUCCEED." in his final evaluation of the Gulf Breeze Florida UFO flap/hoax.

Might as well give you guys one of my favorite dishonest cretin who backs this idea; meet Jeranism.

Jeranism is a guy who's into so many conspiracy theories that he strings them one on top of the other; he's a 9/11 truther, believes NASA faked the deaths of the Challenger and Discovery shuttles, is a flattearther, and is the type of guy who will willingly skip and change sources to present his claptrap as having evidence.

A dude who goes into him being a dipshit and misrepresenting Tycho Brahe's studies.

And here's Armoured Skeptic going into his delusional intentionally dishonest twaddle:

Which got this guy so goddamn mad that he had to release an hour's worth of rebuttal where he basically just argued from incredulity by going "yeah, right", burrowing into more stuff he buys into or letting the vid play. Skeptic did a looksie on that one:

I have a friend who joked about space just being a hoax planted by nasa, and that we live in an earth dome, and that there are other far away lands outside of the earth dome but no one lives there and they're pretty much pointless.
Also, why does everyone blame NASA? there are other space programs as well.

They're probably ignorant enough that they don't know about those, or if they do, they just lump them in the bag with NASA in that Government-Run = konspiracy.

Well not that it matters, most of these dipshits intentionally prefer Russian media over others since its more likely to spin the narrative they want that America is the western snake.

Holy shit, I have seen these idiots so many times; I used to argue with them about how utterly retarded they are constantly.

I've even heard some people argue that the stars are just a holographic projection; projecting onto what. exactly?

Here's Mitchell and Webb's take on this bollocks.

That's Spirit Science, which is some New Age weird fucking dude copying Extra Credits with the shit he pulls out of his ass.

I think the worst part, is that Jordan keeps talking about these new age things like I, as a layman, should already know.

In one video, he mentions that if you read these jade tablets, they tell you everything about Thoth and Atlantis and all I can think of is: Where are they Jordan? Where are these tablets that will CHANGE the entirety of human history (for the better, if true) and why are you and other new age clap trap wahoos the only source of this bullshit?

An otherwise highly intelligent and clever person that I'm friends with constantly dabbles in conspiracy theories like this. He claims not to believe them, but he's the 'if this many people are all saying it, there must be some truth to it' type. He once claimed that somebody once offered to give 10,000 dollars to Buzz Aldrin's charity of choice if he would swear on the bible that he had been to the moon, and takes his 'refusal' as evidence that he didn't actually do so. Is this the same guy?

He lured in Buzz under false pretense if I remember right. He claimed to be a producer for a children's show who wanted Buzz to reminisce about his space experiences. Naturally, Buzz was only to happy to oblige, only to show up to the hotel and find the guy shoving a camera and Bible in his face and telling him to swear on it that he really did go to the Moon.

Naturally, Buzz was pissed and did what most of us would do when lied to, walked out, or tried to, the camera guy kept pestering him so he hung around the hotel looking for an opening to leave, when he saw one, he made it to the parking lot before the whacko caught up, and the rest is what you see there.

And yes, they do try to hold up the fact he "refused to answer" as proof, despite always leaving out the reason why he refused, he was cornered by a lying attention-whore of a man and had no desire to say one word to him.

They're on a shelf next to those gold tablets the Mormtards have.

One of my friends used to have a job that was minority linked to space related science, because she ran programs with a uni to educate CHILDREN about science. For some reason it caused a lot of adults to send her letters and emails about the moon landing being a hoax. I guess because she was spreading lies to impressionable young minds.
I'm not sure, but I assume anybody with a connection to space science is a target for this.
