You guise, you don't get it!
She is a professhunal! She knows everything about nutrition! Like... she could teach a class, about diets and such!
She is only 530 (allegedly) lbs because she wants to show us all how a diet is done in the proper way, no matter the (always changing) starting weight!

To be fair, she's not wrong. Look at the Jack Scalfani thread and how that motherfucker is doing Keto.

He's had two strokes so his solution is to eat MORE saturated fat, red meat, salt, and cholesterol. He breaded some of his food with pureed pork rinds because "there are no carbs in them, theyre the perfect keto food!"

I mean, keto is a good way to lose weight in healthy people (who have a healthy relationship with food and diet, and can actually do and stick to it and understand it), but unhealthy people doing keto is never going to work out. Honestly it's the definition of a fad diet. Like any diet, it works for people committed to it. If you have "cheat days" or whatever, or think you can slip up, it's not really gonna do too much. That's why doctors and just anybody who knows about CICO just calls it a "lifestyle change". Fat people just view it as any other fad diet miracle cure.

Definitely. 90% the reason I'm doing a zero carb diet comes from the strictness of it - eat animal products or you're doing it wrong. It's a psychological mechanism to keep completely away from any foods that are processed or sugary.

When your 'I put effort into my appearance look I'm doing make-up right now' virtue-signalling interferes with your 'I really crave water look I'm drinking it right now' virtue-signalling.

LOL at the 530 elbee nutritionist educating us on keto. Comparing a banana to bacon is such a false analogy - why not compare an avocado with a Big Cup Reeses?

If you're eating keto for epilepsy, which is what it was originally developed for, then you must eat specific percentages of carbs, proteins, and fat, and you have to eat high-fat. But if you're doing keto to lose weight, you don't *have* to eat high fat, just enough to be satiated. And you don't have to eat bacon either. You can still eat vegetables and some fruits, you just have to limit your carbs (outside of fiber, which isn't restricted on keto).

The reason it helps a lot of people, especially type-2 diabetics and morbidly obese people, lose weight is because cutting carbs helps to cut down on hunger, which makes it easier to eat fewer calories. The ultimate goal of any diet is to eat fewer calories than you burn.

Considering that Amber is very hunger-driven, doing keto could help her. But she would fail on keto, like she has on every other diet she has tried, because she can't bear to be the least bit uncomfortable or bother to deviate from the habits that made her well over 500 lbs.

Her lack of willpower aside, she'd fail because she doesn't even understand what it is. Amber thinks you can eat a hamburger on keto, and I'm certain she doesn't mean a bunless hamburger minus all the sugary condiments like ketchup.

Keto/low/zero carb diets also help a lot of T2 diabetics with blood sugar control, but our gorl doesn't have the diabeetus so that obviously isn't a concern.

Eyelash extensions? Hahaha. I hope she tries it and films it. You have to lay on a spa table, on your back, with the back of your head tilted back low, lower than your feet, for the tech to apply them.

She’d stop breathing. I wanna see her choking and losing air while they desperately try to prop a 550 lbs woman up!

“Fat woman dies while trying to get eyelash extensions!” Daily mail would love that one.

I can just see Eric vlogging this and narrating it with his fog horn voice.
"So heeyy guuisee. We are here at the salon *rubs hair* because Amberlynn *hair shake* wanted to try on some eyelash extensions. First salon didn't have a hoist designed to lift up shipping cargo but *hair rub* luckily we drove around and found this really cuuute place next to the Aquarium *more hair adjustments* Luckily they let her borrow the hoist they use to lift the orcas but something went like *hair rub* wrong when they got her horizontal."

"Why would you choose bacon over a banana?"

Goes out to eat IHOP right after video ends.

This bitch has eaten bacon and a banana in one sitting for her breakfast. Both that she claims to hate.

She also would eat eggs for breakfat (first meal at dinner time) even though she is allergic to them. Isn't she also allergic to bacon too?

Keto would probably do her a world of good, since a lot of people doing it find themselves naturally more satiated with far fewer cravings, but it does take actual effort to learn how it works and how to do it correctly. Even going a general lower carb direction would help her immensely, but again... effort. She can't even make changes for a week, much less the several weeks she needs to actually change her habits.

I guess her channel is motivational for weight loss, though. There's nothing quite like watching a cautionary tale in action! It's funny that she keeps her MyFitnessPal profile linked in her videos. I friended her early this year and removed her after maybe a week. Her diary was private and the ONLY thing I ever saw from her was shitty "...added a friend" spam, once or twice a post saying people could chat with her or whatever, but nothing else. I sent her a new friend request a week or so ago and she hasn't added me back. Not that I expect her to actually use it, privately or not.

For Amber, that doesn't matter, since she doesn't need to be hungry to eat. See this video for more info:

I think one of the most telling moments in today's installment (which was the typical boring subterfuge she usually employs when a binge is on that she doesn't want to cop to) was the part in which she says it has indeed become hard for her to walk, but she knows that when she drops 30 pounds, she'll be fine because she got around so well at 500.

This is where her exceptional thinking gets dangerous. She won't lose 30 pounds. Except for that youthful burst of whatever it was that got her down those 89, she has never lost 30 pounds. Sorry, fatty, but that leg pain is now here to stay. And even if she got down to 500, those legs are gonna keep giving out; she can blame gravity for that if she wants to.

Oh right, I forgot about that, but I guess that still goes back to the fact that anything requiring effort won't happen for her unless she has that lightswitch moment a lot of people need before they can be serious/ready to change. Not likely she'll have one of those before it's too late.

I like the part where she looks n the camera and says, "sometimes telling the truth will bite u in the butt."
Has she ever told the truth? Is this video filled with lies? Is she just going to lie from now on? Whos biting her butt?

Amber has lipedema, not lymphedema. Whoever asked that question gave her wiggle room. You have to be smarter than the beanbag, gorls (:

Excess protein is stored as fat in the body, and she always eats to excess. Debating if keto is good/bad is beside the point and kind of annoying to see in this forum. No diet will work for Amber because her bottom line is always finding a way to cheat. There's no diet where you can eat monstrous amounts of food and lose weight (freelee is a liar with an eating disorder, please do not bring up that fruit binge garbage).

Amber simply cannot eat smaller amounts of food. I don't know if she's addicted to food, that's a whole new debate, but I do believe she's addicted to the state of being gut-loaded, to the sensation of being absolutely stuffed. Probably a dopamine thing. Even if she went pure vegetables, her stomach is so stretched it would take as much vegetation as zoo animal eats every day to give her that same feeling.

She needs inpatient. That's her only chance, and I don't know if even that could save her.

She’s eating all the time because she has nothing else to do. If she had a job or hobby, her mind would be too busy to think about food. People can get so caught up in their work they have to be reminded to eat. Everyone has a void to fill—some with work, family, dreams; some with food.

She's had plenty of opportunity to stay busy, though. First, she has the disposable income to get into any number of hobbies. Instead she buys journals and does nothing with them.

She was allowed to tag along to Density's nursing home job before getting officially hired. She quit.

She landed a "government" call center job where she was making good money relative to what she was doing. She quit because sitting around was too much work for her.

Going back even further, she had the opportunity to go to college while living with Casey/Cassidy, but she blew that off too. And there's nothing stopping her from going back to school now, or even take online courses.

Unless we're talking about selling Amber into the slave trade, there's no way to force her have "something to do". She clearly doesn't want to do anything.

I think AL's legs look like this under her crusty leggings
