The only eggs who get hatched and grow up to lay more eggs are chickens who are tasty to humans. The majority of embryos are not delicious or desired by humans. This includes eggs in the cloaca.
I cringe so hard whenever I'm around chicks with heating pads or hatchery's. The copes they'll spew are absolutely hilarious. "Humans aren't that hungry bro theres more to chickens than just scrambled eggs"

I'm sorry, but if your farmhand didn't want to eat you within the first week the chances are he's not hungry. If your farmer gains weight, the chances are he's eating beef.
We already have studies on this. We know that farmers will sell eggs to grocery stores and farmers markets.
