I like the Gamecube because it looks like a toy. :gunt:

PS Vita for me, the bubbles and sliding screens are nice and you can get different kinds of background themes, game selector UIs and all that once its hacked.

The Dreamcast always looked nifty if you ask me. Pure unbridled 90s. And it had the best console logo, too.
I was going to say the same too except I think it has more of an early 2000's look, clean and sleek like the Wii. Also the Dreamcast system menu also gets my vote for most aesthetically pleasing. It's a shame it never really got to shine.

The Dreamcast controllers weren't that great of a design though. (Not as bad as N64 or GameCube at least.)

Console design peaked here. Black with a picture of wood, angular and straight because fuck curves, metallic levers, and a simple controller with a stick for direction and a single button.

Horizontal and vertical? That's amazing.

One of my favourites along with the wii in black:

Simple, compact consoles you can shove anywhere you have a little space are the best. Everything after the pong box era (those were meant to be coffee table pieces, basically) can fuck off with their top-loading and rounded bullshit to stop you setting your drink on them.
My PS5 genuinely thinks it's a pretty fucking princess but she is really a giant fat whore.

I like the PS3 because it's just a stylish black box that at a glance doesn't look like a toy or a games console or stand out. So I can have it in my lounge without visitors thinking I play video games.
