Progress Vancouver was formerly known as Yes Vancouver. They contested only one election so far, in 2018. They won none of ten city council seats, and their candidate for mayor finished 5th. Their best candidate for city council finished thirty-third. So of course they took Oger as a candidate. He's perfect for them.

What's really interesting is that Oger is a staunch NDP supporter, whereas Marissen is a staunch BC Liberal (really a conservative party) supporter. Marissen co-chaired the election for Christy Clark in 2013. Sounds like a match made in hell.

Marissen and Oger is a weird match for sure. Progress Vancouver did well in the recent polling. I think Marissen came third after Stewart and Hardwick. That was for the mayoral race of course. I wondered what was up; I had heard Oger was out and about at politicking events.

Marissen fucked himself. The NPA just lost their mayoral candidate and are actively looking for a new one. He could've made a deal with them and taken the helm. But appointing Morgane to his slate will surely scuttle any potential merger. What an idiot.
