because nobody can run the damn thing. it's still sitting at mostly negative recent and mixed overall on steam because it's still unplayable due to the performance issues and crashing almost a year out from release. seems like it's a lost cause at this point unless they get some divine intervention from god himself to fix the performance before the expansion releases.
hopefully the portable team can make a 6th gen game that actually runs. i tend to like the portable series games better anyway
It still boggles the mind that the PC version of MHWilds, the version most people with even decent specs consider
impossible to run at a playable frame rate (at least without copious amounts of frame generation), outsold both Playstation and Xbox
combined. It had a million players at once around release, and it still hovers over 25,000+ players this week alone...radio silence. Every update or so brings the playerbase back in droves so they're still there, just waiting for that drop of new content to come along from that shitty pipe overhead, but otherwise I see nothing.
They're normies, normies largely don't talk online with others about their experiences and/or grievances, they turn their brain off, play the "current thing," then fuck off. That's why it's silent, because any real fan of MH doesn't give a fuck about Wilds, or can even run it for that matter...
This thread makes me feel better that im just playing world
World is far superior than any MH mainline game after it, Risebreak and Wilds in this case. Not a high bar but even then I'd consider World a good game...at the end of its life cycle because God damn it took a while for it to get good.
