Ulberg looked like an amateur against Blachowicz but incredulously got the win. I would be shocked if he does anything but get violently knocked out in an early round. The bettors have it dead even though. So about half the fans seem confident that Ulberg is going to win.

To me, it will be a preview of Pereira vs Gane, i.e. le pretty, technical striker doing what they do best against the "Kill or Be Killed" archetype of fighter. Odds are even until it's R4 or 5 or the fancy striker is laid out on the mat. However, in the case of the former, it's fucking Jiri, so ain't no fucking decisions.

At end of it all, I'm all in on Jiri, but for the same reason of picking the latter in both Ankalaev vs. Pereira fights. I like Carlos too, but the Kiwi is the type of dude who easily blended into your high school/college circle. He's the guy you'd like your daughter to bring home. Compared to Jiri, fuck, imagine having this boy scout as champion (despite his build and look)?

I have become an unironic Josh Hokit fan. He’s so fucking corny and everyone hates him, it makes me want to cheer for him even more. Nothing against Blaydes, but I’m hoping for a Hokit KO just for the shoot afterward.

So much complaining about him too. It’s awesome. Would you rather a cringey Hokit who is going for kills or a 100% boring Jailton Almeida?

Well, I didn't grow up with WWE, or any of the wrasslin culture, so a lot of Hokit's act flies right over my head, and, not gonna lie, some of it was groan worthy for me.

But I gotta ask this question:

When was the last time anyone has ever talked about a Curtis Blaydes fight?

Thought so. I think Hokit is fine, if a bit of a try hard, but he is selling the fight, which is what people want, and most of the complains I've seen about this guy are from reddit faggots, and why would anyone give a shit about reddit faggots?

Card seems good, Jiri is always down for a good fight, Costa and his secret juice are good for some scraps, Johnny's weird ass is always funny to see him either drop or be dropped.

I'm pumped, let's go, this might be fire.
 
It seems impossible for any prospects to break the ranks in the light weights,

With Moicano getting a big W last week, and now Gamrot out of all people getting a finish on a hyped prospect, the uncs rule that division with an iron grip, you can't break those ranks.
