Horiguchi looked good. I don't think he beats Pantoja, but the champion is running out of people to fight.

Waldo Cortes-Acosta is trying to troll his way into a title fight. Whatever gets the Heavyweight division out of 1st gear is okay by me.

I wouldn't be opposed to Ian Garry getting the first crack at Islam. If he wins, Shavkat. If he loses, Shavkat.

I see why Arman and Khamzat are now friends: they think they are only supposed to work for the UFC once per year. Fuck it, give the Armenian rich boy another title shot. Hopefully, Ilia cracks his chin and that's that.

Van might give Pantoja some problems, kid can crack, but if he has less than stellar ground game, Pantoja is gonna choke him.

Sure, run Garry against Islam, hopefully before a half a year gap. At the very least it will be interesting to see how Islam deals with someone who has a defensive style much like his. His other big fights, like Volk, Porier, Charles and JDM are fighters that need to get into the pocket to get their game going, but Garry fights much like Islam, defensive, circles around, counter punches and waits for the takedown window.

Just don't fight the almost 40 Usman, for fucks sakes.

And Arman looked great in that fight... But Hooker gave up before the fight even started. He knew he had no chance and this fight was just a formality, even so Arman cought some hits that, if it was from Ilia's, he would be flat on the ground.

Even worse, all parties have been asking for that fight but the company decided no.

UFC - I don’t.

Murphy on X lamenting not even that he’s not getting a title shot, but that they are skipping over the chance to fight a proper legend of the division when the rest have all left or retired.

That was Chandler... But the confusion is understandable. Justin might not be as bad as Chandler, but he is just as dumb when it comes to fighting.

A already over the hill fighter, a lay up so Paddy can get a belt and hype up the Topuria fight.

I feel bad for Arman, but we all know the UFC is pageantry, and the guy with charisma and mic skills is gonna be favored.

Not to mention that the UFC is tired of bearded grapplers with a lot of consonants in their last names being champions.

Sure guys like Islam or Khamzat might have their fans, but they have the charisma of a doorknob, they don't do numbers with the normies, who don't have to pretend to be entertained when watching a guy being in half guard for 25 minutes.

Rest of the card is fine I guess, Lopez shouldn't be the one to get the shot, but I kinda want to see how he adjusts in a rematch. Because as well as Volk did, he was in survival mode in the last round.

Sucks to see my boy Figgy being fed to a Khabib clone...
