I really wonder what Xtreme Couture fighters do all day because Niksick coaches like he's just met them for the 1st time. Do they not gameplay at all?

I think the XC fighters spar so much that they don't have that 'second gear'/'third gear' you need to fight your way out of trouble, which is another downside of too much "free" sparring against the same people.

Terrible reffing. 5 knockdowns in round one and the fight was only stopped between rounds when the left hand side of the one guys face swelled up to twice the size of the other side because he had a badly shattered orbital bone.

The Chinaman did the walk off celebration thing 2 or 3 times but the ref just would not call the match for some reason even though the other guy was utterly fucked up.

Bryce Mitchell looked okay at Bantamweight, but my personal bias is get stronger at a more comfortable weight than dehydrating yourself to near death for a few inches/pounds of advantage at the expense of your own strength/cardio/durability.

That split decision to de Ridder was rough. He was coasting/stalling in that last round and playing a lot of patty cake. Between this fight and Bo Nigger (who just gave up), I realize that RDR will spam knees on guys shorter than him. I would be curious to see how his strategy plays out against a MW of comparable size to him (Izzy or Imavov).

They look weak but his shots in the clinch are supposedly brutal. I know some guys who sparred with him and they said that his knees and volume strikes sap your energy immediately. I've never seen Whittaker gas that quickly. RDR is also fortunate he has a strong chin as he nearly got knocked out.

Yeah, that clean shot in Round 3 by Bobby to RDR would have put most other people out cold. I'm curious to see what de Ridder does with someone who won't let him smother them on the cage, or someone with some decent footwork/range management.

I think de Ridder can hang with the top five of Middleweight, but I don't know if he can take the belt with Dricus, Khamzat, Imavov, and even Izzy holding the field.

It looks like the trajectory of the division is Dricus v. Khamzat. Whoever is champion faces the winner of Imavov v. Borralho. If RDR can nail down Izzy or Sean and beat either one, he gets a title shot middle/late 2026.

Really happy for RDR. As much as I like Whittaker, it just feels so good to finally have new blood at the top of the division. Izzy/Whittaker era is over, the division moved past them. The only veteran that I think still can hang with these other guys is Strickland.

I love Alex, but if I'm being completely honest with myself, I think Magomed will probably win this. Jiri vs Rountree sick, but neither will ever touch gold again.

Conor should be chemically castrated or be forced to use a chastity cage atp.

I like Fiziev, he's active and entertaining, but he will need to improve a lot if he wants to have a fighting chance. Gamrot was catching him a lot, so was Bahamondes and the two losses to Gaethje leave no room for doubt about where his ceiling lies. Even an improved Fiziev should lose to Charles 9 times out of 10. He starts off fast but always gasses without fail. This is one of Charles' easiest matchups in a long time, so if Charles loses this I think it's safe to say he's past his prime. And even if Fiziev beats Charles, I don't see him ever becoming champion
