Anything of note going on? I am sadly having to work tonight so I can’t peep the action

Edit: I am not sober

I know what you're saying, but forget the wigger aspect of it.
It's not nearly as ugly. At least when you put it up to the lights it has flash to it.
At least the center plate follows the strap.
The BJJ one looks like a fucking logo you would see on screen coming back from commercial.

Industry plant Talbott got a decision.

Dariush who is heavy for 155 got pieced up in R1 then remembered he is a wrestler in R2 and is smothering Money Moicano.

Just thinking about MMA, one of the reasons I don't watch UFC anymore is that it doesn't really feel like the matchmaking is very sporting. It feels like the focus is on hype more than setting up the fighters with consistent work. Dana treats it like WWE sometimes, and its incredibly cringe. Watching Jon Jones and The Real Irishman's antics about being great fighters while rejecting fights they would lose went on for years, while at the same time we watched Rousey become a striker and no one stopped to go "what the fuck is she doing?" with that fake armenian guy. That whole thing with Ngannou, whatever happened there. Watching dirgistani men hump their way to wins up against the cage is stupid as fuck.

I tune in to recaps and its cool, but by and large TKO UFC just comes across like pretentious ESPN shit, trying to be F1 racing or something. The Just Bleed era is far in the rear view.

Fool! When your sport is bigger than every other sport and sporting championship combined, then you are the premium! Dat's why Uncle Dana yells at all his fighters, "Do you wanna be a fighter!!" It's because UFC only puts on premium quality fight! No lay and praying, no snoozefests, JUST GET IN THERE AND FIGHT!!

Hopefully this Card is Super Fight Central to wash the taste of 2 years of Jon Jones faggotry out the mouth of the UFC.

"I wanna be a power slapper"
I dunno man them the elite of the elite in physical performance. They may look like out of shape bar brawlers but so did Tank Abbot. You gotta know how to pivot in place like the best of the best, disguise your clubbings as slaps, and have some of the best of the best trash talking, like telling your opponent to feed you after you've looked them dead in the eye and allowed them to give you CTE. You got what it takes!!!!?
