UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones has been summoned to court following allegations he verbally threatened to kill a female anti-doping officer in Albuquerque.

The incident is alleged to have taken place at Jones' home on 30 March and was reported to the police on Friday.

In a police department report seen by the BBC, the complainant said Jones was intoxicated, threatened to kill her and took her phone after he was asked to give a urine sample in the presence of two anti-doping officers.

In response, Jones posted a video on Instagram which he says shows both drugs test officers "leaving my home after the testing session, where we exchanged a high five and a hug".

The athlete, who accused one of the testers of breaching standard protocols and health insurance laws, added: "Although I was frustrated with the unprofessionalism and used profanity out of frustration it ended friendly and amicably, nothing threatening at all."

Jon "Negro" Jones. Of course the woman beater started something with the smaller woman. His excuse was retarded - look at this 10 second video of me hi-fiving this woman as she leaves, also she was really unprofessional. Doubt anything happens since the UFC changed organisation from USADA to some mickey mouse Kansas doping agency that seems to be a "yeah you give us the rules and we will fit to you". Another mediocre card, but at least the main event was fun. Some awful judging, though. Someone scored Hernandez-Jackson 30-27, and another one gave Charriere three rounds (although I still thought he edged it).

Thing about 300 is the top 2 fights (the actual title fights) are not that interesting. Hill seems like a athletic power striker who is messy but ok for mma, who has fought exactly 2 good fighters who were well past their prime (Santos, Teixeira) going against a good kickboxer who can’t wrestle.

Two Chinese ladies are between one who has really focused on her wrestling and is very physical, vs a woman who got destroyed by Carla Esparza. Boy I wonder how that would go.

This needed something like Volk Topuria at the top as the final fight of the night.

The mat of the cage? Like the WEC cage? I always preferred that to the UFC drab pastel blue mat or Prides white mat in the ring, the contrast seemed better and made the production look more professional. That was always something that irked me, my mixed martial autism.

Now they have partnered with Bud Lite surprised they didn't go with a rainbow cage and call it UFC 300 - Transition, it's such a neutered event.
