One, in spite being a sinkhole for money with their financials out of whack
i've been wondering for ages how the fuck they make any kind of profit whatsover. the only answer that i can come up with is that it's a money laundering scheme for the billionaires of singapore and china (kinda reminds of how muay thai as a sport would be completely dead in thailand, if not for the gambling industry focused around it. not related, but just a thought). idgaf though, muay thai in 4oz gloves is kino and it streams for free on youtube, i dont complain.

Lewis is cursed to never win in his hometown
Giving him bums who can't pull off the two very clear strategies beat him would be a start. You back him up, feint a bunch, then hit him. If you are Gane, it's kick the shit out of his legs. If you are Pavlovic or Tai, it's wait till he throws to your feint, then hit him.

They should give him someone who will wrestle him, because almost everyone that does gets very tired quickly because Lewis is massive (he cuts to make heavyweight) while he does nothing, he gets up and then smashes them. Obviously make sure they aren't DC levels of competent, but less than that he should win. Give him someone like Spivak.

I really liked that fight too. The ending to that event was phenomenal.

Santos vs Hill has been a really fucking solid card for a fight night. All finishes leading up the main event, been really enjoyable so far.
Yeah, it ended up being pretty decent, all things considered.
This weeks' card looks kind of rough too, outside of the main event. Or are there other fights worth being exited about?

Only ones that seem kinda ok are Silva-GM3, Benitez-Ontiveros, Osborn Nam. That's about it. Rest is either bad divisions or women's fights.

Lewis' hometown is Houston, not Dallas. He does seem to only fight in Texas lately.

The beautiful thing about MMA is even two shitty unknowns can make a magical fight. You never know.

That Bo Nickal guy on DMCS today had like -2000 odds going in. At that point is it really a contender series for the other guy?
It was as one-sided as the odds suggested.
Dude is one of the most accredited NCAA Division 1 wrestlers to step into the UFC. 3 time NCAA Division 1 national gold medalist, 3 time Big Ten Conference champion out of Penn state, 2020 Olympic team trial finalist and U23 2019 world champion winner.

He is about as credentialed as you can get, at 185lbs, where most people (not Adesanya and Whittaker) have shit takedown defence.

Oh yeah, I heard them talking about his credentials (I was half asleep though.) Now it makes sense. Super sucks for the guy who got that match.

If Bo makes it in, I can't imagine how much DC is gonna slob over him if he calls one of his matches.

Seeing Cruz get knocked out like that, have his nose broken and pissing blood made me feel so fucking horrible. Great win for Chito, he's a murderer. Two amazing fight nights back-to back.

He was doing well as well, even though he got flashed knocked down twice before. Up on the card. Next week we have the other WEC era legend fighting.

That Landwehr-Onama fight was something else. Even Beltran ate a punch at the end.
James Krause going after round 1 "you aren't going to let this man break you, are you"? Sure enough, he reminded Onama that he could be mentally broken, and then didn't save him after round 2.

I hate it when the coach goes "are you sure you want to continue", motherfucker, you are the coach, you are meant to make these calls for them. But then again, former fighter who thinks his guy can somehow pull it off.

Man, DC's commentary was abysmal during this card. I actually thought he was doing a pretty decent job during the last events he appeared on, but this was just exasperating to listen to. I think I'll tune in to the Spanish or Russian broadcast for the Makhachev/Oliveira fight because I can't stand his retarded takes anymore.
