Let's try getting back on topic here, guys.

Enter starts by stating that romance stories don’t interest him, so this episode was at a disadvantage from the get-go. Well, at least he’s being honest, but that still doesn’t help anything.
To summarize:
Simple Ways is about Rarity wanting to impress Trenderhoof, a reviewer stallion who will write a review about her set up for this Festival of Whatever. Unfortunately, the reviewer has his interests set on Applejack. To win Trenderhoof’s heart, Rarity tries to become a simple farm pony like Applejack.
Enter’s Verdict:
As I mentioned, Enter doesn’t really care for love stories. Why he’s always reviewing them is beyond me. Enter remarks that the writer of this episode -Josh Haber- has a tendency to make all his episodes by the books; meaning they’re very predictable and don’t try new things.

Hell, he even says this episode is like a roller coaster whose track is nothing but a circle.

He says you have to add something new to a story to truly make it yours.

Enter states Rarity should be able to get over her feelings to focus again on setting up for the festival, but enter once again doesn’t understand how romance works. Err; infatuation would be a better term for this.
All in all, Enter thinks this episode is nothing special.
TL; DR: (insert Growing Around joke here)
