Elison is the same. From one of the videos about it, she's burned through a 250 million dollar trust in 15 years, and might even be in debt. The banks want daddies business so they let it slide for now, but either dad or the banks are going to get sick of this shit eventually.
Its 10 goddamn years of this shit. I don't think they'll be stopping anytime soon. Especially when the average joe's standards for videogames are at rock bottom.

Some observations about Mixtape's sales. tl;dr: I'm almost certain that this game is a financial flop given the amount of money spent on the licensed soundtrack alone.
What even is in their soundtrack? Nirvana? Offspring? Papa Roach? Chumbawumba?

15. Early signs were in 2008, Anita got astroturfed in 2012.

It's already collapsing. Concord, Highguard, Marathon. Unless your standing is complete tradcuck take over, which isn't going to happen.

They're not buying in droves. The "modern audience" keeps not materialising.

People easily forget how long ago this shit started in gaming.

Unfortunately, for Annapurna Interactive it'll keep going so long as the banks are afraid of losing Daddy's business.

Who the fuck makes a game about a 90's mixtape without "Smells like Teen Spirit"?
Who the fuck makes a game about a 90's mixtape without;

Barbie Girl - Aqua
Spice Girls/Backstreet boys
Witch Doctor - Cartoons
Baby one more time - Britney Spears
Wonderwall - Oasis
Gangsta's Paradise - Coolio

Like seriously, if I am making a game based in the 90s I am throwing one of those in there just for the fact they were fucking everywhere.

Even moreso, a game likely set in Oregon, the state right next to where Nirvana got started in Seattle... If the game was an accurate interpretation of west coast 90s teens, half the playlist would be Nirvana because they would have been worshipping them even 4/5 years after Kobain's death. But Nirvana licensing is expensive - even for a jewish nepo baby.

People who got some money to license music, but not enough to license the shit that was actually listened to. I imagine That's Good probably costs less than Whip It.

Yes and they probably cost more. But also consider that the retards who made this game didn't actually grow up in the US in the 90s, some of them having not grown up in the 90s at all other than having been toddlers. This kind of shit is why the whole "muh nostalgia" thing is so fucking absurd and it's really anemoia, people deluding themselves into thinking they're nostalgic for something that wasn't actually how it was or they weren't even engaging with anything from that period.

1. I doubt money enters the equation here, let's be real, how many 90s songs are being used now? Mostly on backwater radio stations let's be real (Especially the ones I mentioned), I'd say Barbie Girl might be more expensive due to the movie which was released but not by the amount which would make this game infeasible.
2. So, funnily enough I was talking to my mother about this, bringing up about the 90s thing and I remember saying "I haven't seen the list of songs, but I guarentee there's no Backstreet boys, Spice Girls or Oasis which were definitely some of the most iconic 90s hits" and we spent like 20 minutes sharing what we miss from the 90s, to be clear I was born in the early 90s so I was a kid and I have a more rock-solid memory of what it was like (Albeit, in britbong land).
Hell we were swapping "What things we miss" and I said "Oh definitely how everything in my bedroom was inflatable" and that's not an exaggeration, the 90s had a fascination (at least here) with 'blow up furniture', I had an inflatable sofa, an inflatable bin, my sister owned an inflatable coat and inflatable bag.. Shit was fucking wild.

It sounds like tinfoil hat Alex Jones craziness, but it's been a thing for a while and they don't really hide it until it goes viral.
Nothing sounds tinfoil hat in a post-Epstein leaks world. All the "crazies" turned out to be right, and when boiled down the "crazies" were just saying "yeah, judeo-commies getting into things always fucks them up because judeo-commie agendas are fucked up". The Gulf of Tonkin being bullshit? Oh wait that turned out to be right. No WMDs in Iraq? Oh wait that turned out to be right. AIPAC influencing the State through bribes? Oh wait that is blatantly happening right now... Over half of your Congress critters being pedophiles who are completely compromised? Oh wait that's obvious to anyone looking at them beyond the surface level tailored suits and pre-written teleprompter speeches.

It's typically judeo-communist outlets themselves who call people outing them nebulous "conspiracy theorists". Geeeeee, I wonder why they would do that? Next you'll tell me the World Economic Forum said openly and in front of cameras, "You Will Own Nothing". Oh wait.... they actually did that openly and in front of cameras.... See what I mean? If you get called "tinfoil hat" by a very suspiciously nepotistic and jewish monopoly - chances are they fear what you have to say and want you one-dimensionalized and demonized. Imagine that.

1. Maybe, and of course with the tracks they picked probably not much. But I'd seriously doubt that certain bands wouldn't cost far more than others, and likely on a per song basis as well simply because they can demand it.

2. Sure even not being in the US, you'd at least be aware of what was popular around the globe.

The inflatable shit... I had heard about some ikea inflatable couches or something at one point, but a trash can and a purse? wtf? See, I wouldn't be someone who would want to try and set a game in the 90s in the UK because I'd have no idea what crazy shit ya'll were doing, let alone know about the obsession with inflatable stuff. I guess the reebok pump shoes came out in 89 and were still around for a bit with some popularity outside of people actually participating in sports, so maybe that counts? lol

if i wanna watch shitty twenty somethings do shitty things in the 90's id just watch trainspotting lol

trainspotting looks good and has a dope soundtrack too like whats even the point of this trash

oh yeah you can watch it in half the time it takes to "play" this ""game""

welcome

begbie would shank all these faggots and take their wallets

id watch that
As I pointed out earlier and to my mom, the 90s wasn't like it was today.
Political Correctness was a slowly growing thing being met with a wider audience disinterested and mocking it, parents beating their kids wasn't uncommon and was still relatively tolerated and authoritarian parenting was still pretty strong. This idea a fucking SMALL TOWN COP father wouldn't of dragged his daughter into that car when he saw her coming out is beyond bullshit, it's the type of story which would've been in the bargin bin at a Blockbusters if it was a movie in the 90s for how unrealistic and retarded it was.

These faggots all bemoaning that they have nostalgia for that time period wouldn't last 5 minutes with their modern mindset and incessant need for social media attention.

Shit's so fucked in this game we've got a VTuber saying we need to start beating kids again.
