What the hell is the point of a mime, anyways?

I understand clowns on a conceptual level but who wants to watch a mime do that boring-ass hand jive nonsense? If I wanted to watch a silent character do something funny I'd go with Mr. Bean.

So I guess I'll pick clowns. Always liked their costumes.

mimes and clowns are the backup plan of performers everywhere just not making it so of course they suck. If your physical skills are up to snuff you'd be playing creatures and machines in Hollywood or theather not the literal most basic version of your craft. If I want to see overly animated body acting I'll watch tokusetsu. takaiwa sejij miming skills are better then any fake frog in grease paint.
Clowns are basically concidered so bottom of the barrel its kinda feels more genuine. I see a mime I think failed pretentious actor, when I see a clown I think person who wants to entertain kids...or pedophile.
