Yawn. Not this "chicken abortions" nonsense again. Most eggs are unfertilised and therefore nothing like aborted foetuses. Nor are they "chicken periods" as this lot like to claim. Menses consists of a mixture of blood and the endometrium, which is the shed uterus lining. Chickens don't have periods, menses, or uteri. Ergo, eggs aren't chicken periods or abortions. They are just that - eggs.

Why would it be bad if it were abortions anyway? Don't these people all totally love abortions?

Actually at a regular slaughterhouse they stun them with a high voltage electrical pulse then destroy the front of the brain pan using a high speed captive bolt gun killing the cow instantly with a very minimal amount of pain. Only once the animal is dead do they hang it by it's hind legs and then open the throat to drain the blood. I'm speaking from UK experience here so if you come from some part of the world where that IS the method of slaughter y'all motherfuckers need to get with the times.

The only place an the UK where an animal is bled out to kill it is in Halal meat production which is a backward religious slaughter method which causes immense suffering and distress to the animal and should, IMO be banned, fuck offending the religious nuts, if they're that worried about it they can go Vegetarian.

I would think taking a half an hour to kill one animal would be terribly inefficient.


I remember some crazy vegan chick in my 10th grade English class did an essay on the meat industry and she brought in this video of a pig being slaughtered. It took twenty minutes just for them to kill one fucking pig. The whole time they're practically torturing the damned thing. Half the class is crying, the other half looks like they're about to throw up. Why the teacher allowed this I have no idea. (Especially since this class was right around lunch time) Now that I'm older and I would hope, a little wiser, I'm guessing this video was heavily edited.
