Sad thing is, the initial article is actually pretty logical about the whole point that cats (and dogs, while not mentioned) kind of need meat in their diets. Of course the specials on that place apparently can't accept that, judging by how many replies are going on about how you "absolutely can have a cat on a vegan diet". I suppose you can, if you don't mind them dying of malnutrition in short order..

You have to load it up with a ridiculous amount of supplements to give it nutrients it needs to not die, but it's possible. Shit, just give your cat an IV every day and then he never has to eat meat again!

I wonder what these people do when their cat gets out and kills a bird or a mouse or something.
