I can't believe soy, of all things, made it onto the list. I thought it was their trademark favorite food.
Nono. Haven´t you heard? It´s satan now. It´s umph and some other stuff that´s right. Almond milk is also bad I think.

I for real talked to a nature science teacher for 16-19 year olds who didn´t like GMO because we "don´t know what it will do to our own DNA" Bitch It´s glorified crossbreeding. Can people do it without developing tentacles I don´t think a carrot will get you into the X men

I´m new so I thought I would start off with this motha fucking gem. Me and the girlfriend uses my baby bump to stalk mom groups. It´s a horror show

I feel sorry for the kid because he is going to be left out from so much. Eating together is important part of many ways people hang out and having some food is essential for longer stays. People in general aren’t that happy to accommodate anything more than simple allergies. Even if the more complicated food restrictions are medically necessary, changing what food you were going to make or making more options just pain in the ass and often adds extra costs. Of course this case sounds purely ideological witch adds extra layer that some people don’t want support or go trough hoops for cause they don’t believe in or might even be against. There are people who might still do it but others are going to choose not to bother and just not invite anyone with troublesome diet to food related things. This isn’t even just people being lazy or stubborn, many are scared of screwing up and others can’t really afford it. This tends to get highlighted with kids because parents are the ones getting extra work and cost for little benefits. Unless it’s something like your kiddos best friends or know trouble maker, the other children are pretty interchangeable for a parent. Kids having something to do and learning social skills eather way, so why not invite Emma who eats anything instead of Lindibell who is only allowed raw organic vegetables.

I think there are about as many misspellings on that list as there are items.
Aside from the lack of nutrition leading to mental deficiencies making the mother borderline illiterate, quite a few of the items listed are insane even from an asylum inmate's perspective. Many of the things on it are not synthetic or un-ecological in any way.

The Guardian published a long read article 6 days ago pretending to wonder why people hate vegans. The first paragraph is complaining about the raw squirrel eating guy in London months ago (which had an A&H thread).
A charge commonly laid against vegans is that they relish their status as victims, but research suggests they have earned it. In 2015, a study conducted by Cara C MacInnis and Gordon Hodson and published in the journal Group Processes & Intergroup Relations observed that vegetarians and vegans in western society – and vegans in particular – experience discrimination and bias on a par with other minorities.
So many silly quotes in this article. She proved critics who accuse them of victim status right by saying they face as much discrimination as minorities. Do the police shoot you dead for eating a whole grain avocado sandwich?
They really do manage to alienate most people. They even end up alienating SJW types who I have seen call vegans classist, racist, colonialist. They do have a point sometimes. I guess you can ignore food deserts and indigenous people living off the land if it suits your narrative.

For once, I do kind of think the vegans have a point. If Burger King aren’t fully committed to the vegan thing, including ensuring cross-contamination doesn’t occur, then the Impossible Whopper is just meaningless corporate virtue signalling.

That being said, the poor sod you just forced to clean a grill is not the policy maker, so don’t be an asshole. Writing to BK would be a more direct, less ambiguous way to get your message across.
I can't understand why a committed vegan would choose to eat at Burger King, of all places.

This is so true. If they're going to someone's house, all they need to do is ask if they could have a salad, or bring their own food. If they're meeting friends at a restaurant, then check the menu ahead of time and if nothing is available (unlikely), then sip a drink or two and talk with your friends, then eat when you go home. And yet they prefer to make unrealistic demands and then complain about how all their non-vegan family and friends (if they even have non-vegan friends anymore) hate them.

And their holier-than-thou attitude. One of my personal lolcows went vegan a while ago and every chance he gets he'll post about his "cruelty-free lifestyle". I don't know if he managed it or not but a while ago he really wanted to move to Bristol mainly because they had multiple vegan restaurants, because going to a regular restaurant wasn't good enough anymore. This is extra hilarious because he's a hardcore socialist who will rant about capitalism eagerly when given the chance, but vegan restaurants don't count apparently.

"Cruelty free", but just for animals. Nevermind the little Chinese orphans making your iphones, the child soldiers being killed for your gems, and the bankrupt hondurans sewing your adidas so you can live a cushy sustainable vegan lifestyle in a first world country while thinking you have the high ground. Fuck 'em.

There does seem to be an intersection of veganism, marxism, and the entire package of related discourses. I can't find the exact thread, but a couple of years ago, I saw a thread on reddit where a vegan's feminism was so intersectional it not only included muslim women but also female cows, and some rhetoric about animal husbandry being some kind of extension of the patriarchy because it exploited the female reproductive system for profit.

They'll tell you that their lifestyle means that they cause less unnecessary suffering in this world.

That's baffling. I can't even conceive of pulling up stakes, moving away from my job, family and friends to some other place, just because they have more fucking restaurants there. I'm guessing this is one of those vegans who can't cook to save his life, and only eats out and consumes processed garbage, because if you have even an inkling of culinary interest you wouldn't care about restaurants at all.

Oh no, he cut off his family years ago as far as I can tell. Probably because they didn't give him asspats 24/7. Doesn't really have any friends either because he's a total drama whore and surrounds himself by drama whores. So he burns bridges all the time. Doesn't work either due to the 'tism, gets by with whatever the UK version of SSDI is. So moving to the place that aligns best with his political beliefs and has pure vegan restaurants is a win-win for Terry.

I once had some vegan cuntass call me a "corpse muncher", then get irrationally angry when I told him that was unironically the most metal thing anyone has ever called me and that I'm stealing it.

Seriously, tho, these people are just SJWs for animals. Their oppressed class is animals rather than trannies, whamens, faggots, or niggers. They've got their buzzwords too, like carnist, which they'll label you with at every turn. And, like SJWs, they'll constantly misrepresent studies and statistics, or even outright lie to you if it'll help push their agenda.

But good god it's easy to fuck with them! You just have to exist and they spaz the fuck out.

Ditto, the reason I do vegetarian meals for my own health purposes while refusing to go full vegan is partly I don't think it's ecologically necessary, partly because the sacrifice in flavour is undesirable, but also I don't want to support that industry and consequently its far above-average awful percentage of followers. I'd much rather promote consuming a much higher percentage of vegetables in general than support shitty boutique companies that are fine to have a higher carbon footprint and social damage than regular food just because they can claim "vegan" defence.

it sounds fruity to put it this way, but I've slowly come to feel as much morally for the eating of animals because of the culture around veganism as they are morally against it.

So if I sit on my ass all day and guzzle french fries and twinkies with a 2 lieter bottle of coke, I'm morally superior than Chad? Sweet!

These are industrial grills that need to be taken apart for cleaning, mind you. We aren't talking about a dinky little george foreman here.
It isn't so much an industrial grill, as it is a conveyor belt that travels over a flame in a closed unit. You can't clean it without stopping everyone else's order for that same amount of time.

And honestly, a few molecules of beef on a processed goo patty won't kill a vegan or cause another cow to die. I mean the whole idea is to reduce the suffering of animals by reducing the demand for products that cause their suffering, right?

That's the excuse they give, yes. But we all know it's more just to bloviate about their superiority and as a way to cry-bully people.
