He only killed like 3 thousand.. could you imagine the deaths if the fucking commies took over? That peninsula has a higher standard of living today than the rest of the continent. Look at what happened with Pol Pot. some communists are too dangerous to be kept alive!
 
Meh, he only killed the useful idiots. Not the leaders. These became teachers, journalists and politicians, and they poisoned two whole generations with their drivel.

And now Chile is suffering the consequences of his complacency.

Not really you just need someone who can get markets working the right way and reduce the bad policies that make Latin Americans poorer.

It is true how dare he leave the toilet seat up also he was kind of a man who loved to wear his military cape.
 
He did do many things wrong. He had 500 pregnant women arrested and put in prison, allowed them to give birth and then had them all executed. Real nice guy. All the other ''disappeared'' as in anyone who opposed his regime were thrown into mass graves. Many buried alive.

But sadly this is not such an atypical scenario for most Latin American or Central American countries in terms of their leadership. I remember all those students who did a protest in Mexico who disappeared a few years ago and they found their bodies buried on top of a hill somewhere.
