Will it be better or worse than The Binding of Isaac?

I've playing a little in the update and here's my dogshit opinions:

Mage: the changes feel better, he is still boring as fuck but the huge range increase makes his basic actually worth using and investing points in dex to scale it up, a lot of other spells that where previously shit like the fire ones are now worth picking, mage finally feels like he can pull on his own weight with any active you roll (unless you roll only teleporters and forbidden spells) and had no issues going from the lab to the past, at no point i felt like i had to baby sit him even when he got every bad event like poop parasites and splinters. In the future things get spicy because half the enemy roster are inmune to magic but nothing that extreme, he clapped mother with the ice wind spell that now do absurd ammounts of damage AND can hit frozen enemies.

4 and 5 passives and forbidden spells are still dogshit please edmun fix that shit i beg you.

Hunter: still OP, nothing else that i can say, he's just too much of a chad.

Tinkerer: the fact that he can now craft and throw at the same time is huge, i didnt thought it would affect that much but it really does make him a lot more usable and gives him a lot of breathing room for builds, if you have craft (the skill) you can rape the enemy by crafting something, hit throw and repeat until you are out of mana, i also feel they changed how often he can roll the glass shard because i got it like 3 times the entire run from the desert to chaos so tech 0 is now better to use since you will roll pogo sticks and batteries more often. Tinkerer stocks are at an all times high now.

Breeding room: the nerf does feel, my inbreed fuckers now produce retarded kitties more often than not, HOWEVER it seems the nerf applies to the kitty, not the parents so you can have a heavily inbreed cat that is about to become cat jello due to how inbreed he is and if you pair it with another similarly inbreed cat but very distant from it or just plain not related at all they will produce a kitten that is non inbreed and will have no birth defects and good mutations, however if you pair them with a stray you better have a room for strays with good genes because even if your stim is 100 the fucking kitty will still roll between the worst numbers and best numbers of the same stat from both parents so your hard earned all 7's cat can still potentially create cats that roll 6's or 5's setting you back if he dies for any reason and there's no heir.

So yeah in conclussion the breeding part of the game is slower and you better pull the excel sheet for this shit, i am insane so i actually enjoy this part of the game but if you dont then is better that you stay in the current patch because this one will make you mald, i had to purge all of my cats and essentially rework everything because the pakistan meta was actually too detrimental in this one.

Also: Null cat

Just use strays theory
Tbh I don't have an issue with inbreeding in my gene pool because I usually throw a stray there even if its a bad one
Because if you have good stimulation your stray newborns will probably pick up the 7 stats most of the time

I missed the shipment of shit cow steaks fresh from the trash farm? Darn. How will I ever become back my money at this rate?

The inbreeding nerf cracked me up only because my population is only slightly inbred, whereas my wife's population is straight Hapsburg. The way I found out about the patch was finding her scrambling to incorporate every shit stray that turned up just to negate the nerfs to her no-longer-cats.

I used to think Scrapper Backpack sucked. Then I realized my mistake was using Tinkerer equipment on a Tinkerer.

Decided I'd spent enough time to justify coughing up thirty bucks and switched to a clean copy. Started a new file for the 'cheevos since I'd been floundering in early a3 anyways from a truly cursed breeding program.

Just unlocked a2 a second time, things are pretty smooth so far. Been trying to keep my cats all related to my OGs as a fun side project and they're even marginally less ugly than the last ones which is a nice bonus. Maybe I'll even get some decent mutations this time and not have SIX cancer runs and five shimmers with absolutely zero mutations that aren't +2/-1.

Also, since I learned the Beanies quests are randomized, I'm working on clearing as many as possible while the throbbing domain is still locked because fuck you, I am not taking the goddamn airhorn to the moon EVER again.

I think the art style of all of his games fucking sucks and is ugly.
Yes.

Stuck on mana-drainy moon-man with a mid team. Breezed till the boss. Counters my every tactic and is impossible. Store good abilities and line up the hands and try to make a good combo? He drains all my mana! Burst him? Man in the moon is immune to anything unless you fight him the way it's intended. I think Mana Drain Man in the Moon is genuinely unbeatable and I'm considering abandoning. I'm 10 resets in at this point.

I hate act 2 bosses. They're all gimmick that need a specific team to be beaten.

I genuinely don't even know what their gimmicks are because I've never beaten one in more than 1-2 rounds.

Same with a lot of problem bosses tbh. I truly have no idea why people hate Bumblefoot or Spewer, they just kind of stand there and die.
