Interesting to see if the dark ones make a return and who you play as. Cause I assume it isn't Artyom. Wonder if the story leads us choosing to become closer with the dark ones or eradicate them. Such as what happened in last light

Hope it's not too on the nose with its messaging. Might be a tall order. Then again it just might fit in games like these as long as it doesn't kick my immersion in the teeth.

Still haven't played the Exodus DLCs. Perhaps the time has come

Am I the only one who is a little annoyed that after establishing cool and fun metro gameplay they now consistently refuse to do anything involving the metro and its all gay surface and cave crap

Eh, that was the issue in the main books honestly. The spin off books usually deal more with the metro stuff itself.

A dream game of mine in the Metro universe, is one where you actually manage people and do fights to claim majority of the metro and securing the center of it. I like how the books discuss how the Metro is fractured in several factions trying to fight for the highly economical and defensive center, but sadly we as a player just stroll by all that politics and fights in the games mostly in the games we've had.

Like it be cool for a what if scenario spinoff game to control a faction and trying to 'tame' the metro with/or against other factions and trying to keep your piece of the metro secured from mutants that reside outside and within said metro.

TBH I have had the same thought, there are numerous good ways to do it

The Devs saying the entire Metro series does not simply depict the post-apocalyptic setting as glamorous, nor were the games designed to resemble theme park experiences. In fact, the third installment emphasizes the challenges of the apocalypse, and the series as a whole has been consistently compared to streamlined versions of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise. Injecting Ukraine war shit in a game with Russian setting is already dumb. At least don’t lie about what the Metro games were like.

Played the first two Metro games. I thought they were alright. Never finished the third one. The nazi faction as always been the minority evil faction of the games but with today's politics, I really hope they dont overstay their welcome so we can focus more on the dark ones.

The whole metro series was more mystical and hopeful, Khan was the best character in the series and the walking segment I had with him and in end defending a doomed station from the bitches is probably the most memorable segment of the game. The game, in both series wanted the players to not follow the doomed nature to torture or kill like the two factions the red and the fourth reich which artyom himself called them stupid because they are fighting over old world grudges.

Now in the new game, you have fat faggots donning the MAGAtard outfit talking tough and revealing a whole wolfenstein clone, WHICH IS LAZY ON A WHOLE LEVEL!, again with the kid being captured and treated as a slave which means the game is going to be ANOTHER REVENGE STORY!

So we went from exploring human depravity to finding a much better meaningful goal like the Dark ones and exploring anomalies to the retarded war you play in the Last light ending? I hate faggots a lot and I know ukranians and other faggots will mass buy it, just another KCD2, Stalker rebrand done to spite a group of barbarians that wont even care. The game will go down in obscurity with the rest.....

Ya know, I dont think it'll be a mass buy. Like, even them using the "Made in Ukraine" seems like desperation, specially since the devs are chilling in Cyprus. But really, after how much a wash STALKER2 was, nobody is gonna buy into the whole "muh ukwaine" thing anymore.

I am all for killing nazis, but BRUH why a Wolfenstein clone?????? of all the world building you can make from Metro alone, these niggers chose Wolfenstein? THE NAZIS WERE A JOKE IN THE PREVIOUS GAME! i hate the cattle class, Just nuke us Netanyahu

It is kinda ironic how author made a Spartan guy into the new Fuhrer, while hes busy chilling in Israel.

Based on their "experience" with Russian invasion, still too chicken shit to make the Commies outright baddies, lol.
Last Light was infuriating with it's moral cuckoldry.

The game shames you and gives you the bad ending if you allow the vile communist that genocided a whole station, betrayed you and left you for dead to get his just punishment, and then doubles down when it does the same for the Spartan traitor.

Which is no surprise, since the Metro books are written by a fencesitting liberal faggot.

The writer/writers engage in the most gay form of moral false equivalence, trying to paint Artyom, who, based on all the information he had available in the first game, had no reason to view the Dark Ones as anything but a threat that needed to be nuked (and yes, I'm aware there's a good ending you can get, but the canonical one is the bad one) being just as evil as a communist mass murderer and his traitor buddy.

Well, he sure drops his "fencesitting" shit in his none metro books (which nobody gives a shit about), frankly it was more fun when he tard ragged over some spin off books showing minor communis factions or even communist viewing characters as positive heroes.
