I’m on a FromSoft roll this year and next year, I got Sekiro last week, this to play next month and (hopefully) Elden Ring in 2020

It's an awesome game. I have an imported Japanese version for Xbox. And it very playable because even though it was never released outside of the Japan. The whole game has English voice acting. Japanese only can get a bit tricky in the equipment menu. Can't wait to play it again fully localised. Going to be tits

Looks like an over the top arcade game. Kinda surprised this was released for the XBox of all things.

If only it could support 21:9. Ultrawide users: sigh.

Also, it better have a (theoretically) uncapped framerate. Many Japanese games lock the player at 60 FPS.

I'd point out all the fucking reee-ing that's inevitably coming from the usual suspects of "gaming journalism" but I'm too busy having the biggest mech boner right now.
47th President, game had the tagline of "Mech America Great Again." All one needs is a sperg thinking this will somehow tie to Trump because of course, they think Trump needs to dragged into it because it's somehow important. That or some complaint about America that could be valid (or not) but isn't even related to a game that's meant to be over the top.
Actually that happened a couple of years ago when Devolver revealed the title at E3. I think Polygon was the one that got triggered the most.

Only difference with this is being a re-release of a cult classic. On that same note though, a guy like me hopes one day they make either a new King's Field or a new Armored Core.

Yeah, when the game was first revealed, there were some people dumb enough to think that the game could be a dog-whistle for the alt-right or something because it made a MAGA joke in saying "mech America great again."

Well with any luck they won't notice that it's now releasing and have forgotten it completely. After all, those wankers only go through all the promos and trailers to find something to bitch at, they don't actually play video games.

It’s new to us westerners

I played this game recently.

What an incredibly bizarre game even by Japanese standards it is, it's been a while since I've experienced a piece of Japanese media that has weirded me out as much, there's so much bizarre dialog, I couldn't believe what I was hearing as your secretary Jodie goes on this long, bizarre story about finding her favorite candy at the grocery store.

Don't get me wrong, I was loving every minute of it, what an awesome game, but what a next level bizarre one too.
