I'm sorry, but I genuinely cannot bring myself to care and be outraged over whatever the fuck ragebait this shit is. Like seriously, if they have to grasp at the jiggle physics of a fucking optional side menu being static rather than dynamic (and probably more realistic because her tits are fake) as one of their big complaints, I cannot bring myself to give a shit. Konami still included all of her saucy moments & first-person ogling perspectives within the story entirely intact and unchanged, if this guy just wants to see boobs jiggle in a menu then he can go fucking watch porn. The fact that the boobs don't jiggle as much as the original doesn't even feel like some sort of intentional censorship. I'm sure there'll be mods in the future that this guy will love.
I 100%'d the game and got FOXHOUND rank playing entirely on my Deck.

Downloaded it from the high seas because im not paying 80 bucks for a ps2 game. It really does feel like a ps2 game with the tiny maps and transitions between bits. The first two hours was 1.5 hours movie, 30 min gameplay...

The game has problems yes. Gameplay choices that were kinda retarded. But this dog brain attempt to call everything woke is getting old. There's bigger fish to fry to be shitting blood over. To put this on the same level of offensive as Silent Hill 2 demake is profoundly retarded. I think the only people experiencing performance issues that are crippling are running it on nigger tier PCs.
They do look a different shape but IDK if I would say bigger. I do think she was made prettier since I never liked how she looked from the beginning. I complete forgot her tits jiggled in the original. This is just searching for reasons to be pissed off at nothing.

As for the holding up enemies I haven't had issues. I guess it's off putting since you need to hold them up over the shoulder and you're misjudging the distance to the soldier and it's not triggering.

I don't like it either and it vignette's the screen. You can do it without it if you use the analog. I'm waiting on someone to upload a mod to nexus to remove that visual.

Are most of you playing on console? I'm still having bad stuttering when entering new areas and it'll freeze for a second before a large explosion or other effect. The amount of fixes on Nexus tells me it's not unusual. Really surprised your steam deck played it so well. The performance is annoying me now though, I need to make room on the SSD and try install it on that instead.

You know, I don't know about you guys, but as cringe and woke disclaimers are it usually signals that the developers were too lazy to censor anything in the remaster/remake. As for Delta, the only dumb shit I've heard of so far is no nipples in Eva's x-ray and the baffling change of having Sigint say "crap" instead of "shit", but maybe there's more I don't know about.

I remember after Stonetoss made a comic parodying Valve a few months ago, several culture warriors who had never posted in the Half-Life thread here in the Gaming board before all showed up en-masse to call Valve the wokest company in gaming because Eli is black and has a mechanical leg. I don't even mind this version of the song anymore, but not having it synced with the end up the climb is pretty moronic. During my last run, you can make it to the door before the song ends it's that over budget on time.
BTW I don't mind the new title screen. Although I think there should've been a compromise where you had the CQC title screen and what they have now and have it random every you boot it.

These are my rig's specs:
14th gen i7
3080 RTX
32 gigs of ram
It runs around 50-60 FPS. I'm not getting stutters at all but dropping framerates at times. My drivers are up to date as well. For some reason cutscenes don't suffer really despite being ingame. UE5 and RE Engine both have this problem with making detailed hair look good.
To reiterate, you can play it on the Deck, but with sub-optimal frame rates and graphics. If I'm gonna drop at least 60 for a game, it needs to run a lot better than what the Steam Deck offers.
