i enjoy mgs4 better than 5
Oh and on this comment, I’ve never played 4 but watched a play through. It seemed too much like a debbie downer of a game. Although PW in my opinion I like alot more (at least atheistically) then MGSV and the story line was cool. I loved the Thompson smg and banana combo. And although I never had a friend the cardboard tank was a great meme.

I still love MGSV though no other game plays like that one and has so many combat options. I just wish the game wasn’t so big with little areas, 90% of the locations in that game were just small outposts with 4 guys and I understand from a file size prospective why that was the case. I also wish I have a computer modders are making more maps for it.
I don't recall revengeance being disliked at release, at least not like MGS2
It wasn’t vilified like MGS2 but there were people were who were actually disappointed that Riden was the main again and didn’t want the ninja features because it’s “not muh stealth action game”. That being said it was still beloved by kojima fans.

Honestly I think the worst MGS fans are the ones who constantly say snake and otacon are gay lovers.
There’s always those fans in any fan base and they are usually always the worst in all cases.

Would genuinely play this game if ESRB wouldn't go all anal about child violence.
There is a mod on PC that lets you kill kids without a game over, if that's what you're asking. I got desensitized to child violence in games thanks to all the hours of Fallout 2 so I didn't really care too much about gunning the little bastards down in the few missions where they're present(assuming I didn't sneak past them)
Started Metal Gear Rising Revengance. It is a blast. Fights are fluid, Normal difficulty feels normal, challenging but not overkill, and graphically, holds up all things considered.
I wish the cutting element would have played a larger role like it originally did. It's fun cutting random soldiers or bosses into tiny little pieces, but I would love to destroy parts of the environment to gain strategical advantages or cripple opponents at any time instead of outright killing them(think of it like crippling limbs with VATS in Fallout).
Still, what's there is impressive for the time. Gen 7 was notorious for linear corridor design but MGR makes it work. Stealth is kinda useless, but then again, why would you use stealth when you're a cyborg ninja super soldier?

Lol, I wonder if that messes with the essential kids needed in some cutscenes. MGSV probably just spawns them in. What I meant was that a game about a young Liquid Snake navigating a warzone and becoming a child soldier would call in the dies irae from every advocate group in existence (along with the ESRB)

Shipping wars are retarded in every fandom, and there's already a healthy handful of canon gays in MGS! But fujos gotta fuj!

Pretty sure it doesn't since they still fail the mission if they die: They're treated like quest objectives. You can kill random kids that spawn in during some missions, however.
Game about young Liquid sounds horrible, I don't imagine he would be doing anything too interesting before he grew up and did his thing with FoxHound in MGS1 and playing as a child would also be less fun: Cannot fight as well, cannot move around as well, cannot climb as well. I guess sneaking would be more interesting but that's about it. I think his appearance in V was enough, what I would have liked was that finale on an island in V which was cut. I think his character needed that one final moment, and what was leaked would have been a perfect end to his child arc.

I think his appearance in V was enough,
He barely does anything in V, though. His fight mission was cool and then he just throws tantrums for the rest of the game. His concept art with the assault rifle was kinda cool but that was cut for obvious reasons. I agree that ep. 51 shouldn't have been cut.

Would rather have seen Sniper Wolf if we were going to go the 'young version of known character' route as that would've actually made a bit more sense.

With Quiet, that would have been redundant. We don't need two femme fatale snipers that Kojima likely wanted to fuck in one game.
I think Liquid filled his purpose in V. He wasn't the main antagonist or even the focus, just another character in Venom's little clubhouse. I'm glad they chose Mantis instead since his segments were always great.

Eli spoke Kikongo, one of the national languages of Congo (which was known as Zaire from 1971-1997).
Pashto is a national language of Afghanistan and what is spoken by the Mujahideen rebels in the zone.

Speaking of Liquid. How tf did an actual pasty brit 7 year old survive and thrive in the African wilderness on his own whilst also being pursued by black-ops teams funded by the most connected man in the series? Would genuinely play this game if ESRB wouldn't go all anal about child violence.
that was it.
eli was actually the one with the super big boss le epic genes but they said teehee what if we did a silly psychological experiment and switcheroo it. surprise surprise it gives him an inferiority complex

Then Quiet should've been replaced with Wolf. Alright whatever, picking apart MGSV and dreaming about what could've been is useless at this point.

Recently went through the MG series, and Liquid is such a faggot. This nigger is so butthurt about his "brother", he invaded a spergy russian's mind to seethe about him to that day.
Just finished MGS4's 1st chapter.

I always thought it'd be funny if Big Boss really had no idea and was just being a fucking prick to Liquid when he told him that.

"You're just a dumb clone, and guess what, you got all the bad genes ya dipshit."

The Last Days of Foxhound should be canon, I can't see Liquid as an asshole after reading that.

I like mgs4 on the whole better, but I think 5 gameplay wise is phenomenal. I'd still agree tho. Unrelated to anything but if I were given a genie in a lamp and could wish for anything, I'd wish for an mgs2 remake with the mgs4 engine

The only ship I have is myself x Para-Medic.
