Finally completed the first chapter, Saherablahblahblahlongname gave a good fight, sadly i need to grind MORE fuel to complete mother base

also this game is weird how you can fulton sheeps and eagles but you cant fulton childrens? you need a special upgrade to fulton them, now i have to do some missions again to get the secondary objectives

by the way there is a special way to knock out eli without he able to see you? im thinking in using a Sleeping gas grenade
As a joke after stealthing past the kids I threw a magazine into where Eli is sitting and it started the fight without the intro cutscene. So I guess the sleeping gas would just give you the first hit I guess.

Anyone want to join me for MGO mayhem on ps4? Gamertag is Shadowstraain.

I don't know what i did but today i returned to mother base to sperg a little and do development in peace and suddenly a event happened

It was a scene of Quiet and Snake playing in the rain it appeared after i saved all the children that escaped mother base

i guess it was because i have almost full friendship with her (i did it for the Silenced sniper rifle every mission i forgot to tell her to not cover me and blew the no alerts bonus), the thing i know is that kojima almost copied the end of Pacific rim in there

Yeah. Max Bond and it has to rain in the ACC before you return.
Code Talker was watching.

oh yeah i saw him also if you take the helicopter to go to missions you can see him in the main platform, same as eli, he is sitting in a chair in the top of the base
He only shows up when your in the helicopter on a tower reachable by ladder. Do any of the other characters show up on base, besides Eli on the tower and Quiet in her cell?

I could never get into any of the other Metal Gear games except for Revengeance (and yeah i know that's not a real Metal Gear game shut up), but something about TPP has got me hooked.

Maybe it's the amazing depth of gameplay, or maybe it's the fact that the game actually lets me play it instead of forcing harebrained thirty minute geopolitical lectures down my throat every chance it gets.

Or maybe it's the fact that I get to create a nation of gamers soldiers without borders and take down Tha Skullz with my totally chill and realistic parkour wolf at my side.

Either way, game owns bones.

Subsistence modes are pretty intense. I almost forgot that kind of feeling where you have to find your own weapons.

no partners, no weapons, only you and your robotic arm, i passed the first one (the afghanistan one where you have to destroy 3 antennas) with rank A because i did not find C4 and have to improvise with grenades

in my second run i got A but this time i knocked out three guards with rocket launchers, still you need C4 for a S need to check faqs about where to find it

also the Total Stealth missions, well they are not so great the one you have rescue the bionics engineer was pretty easy because i knew the terrain for my first try and have the sneaking suit

I kind of wish there were more subsistence missions. Total Stealth is fun, but the only two I've done are the ones where you rescue the engineer and destroy the oilfield.

As much as I found plenty of things iffy about MGSV
such as its identity crisis when it thought it was Resident Evil; I have to admit, I teared up a little at the part where DD soldiers lined up saluting you while humming the Peace Walker theme.

Losing all those S ranks hurt too.

Lets see what a mobile excutives in Japan say:

“The Japanese games with which most players are familiar have always been the outliers,” David McCarthy, of the Tokyo-based developer Cybird, told me. “But there has always been a huge iceberg of titles beneath the surface that Western gamers rarely glimpse.… The growing cost of console development, allied to a shrinking domestic market, have made these games increasingly unviable without international success.”

It’s likely that, after Kojima’s non-compete clause expires, in December, he will find a new studio and continue making lavishly produced games. But these future projects will be anomalies in a mobile-dominated Japanese market. Although Western fans may mourn the loss, McCarthy doesn’t share their despondency. “Honestly, I am not so sure that any threat to yet another shouting, shooting game full of American grunts saving democracy from the wiles of dark-skinned terrorists is any great loss to the art,” he said.

Mobile future is dominated by clueless hipsters, if anything to go by.

Mobile future is dominated by clueless hipsters, if anything to go by.

Let's see (spoilers ahead)
Metal Gear Solid 1: The bad guys are a rouge American special forces squad, though comprised of a native american, a kurd, a psychic, a russian (who is actually really an American) , and an american with an inexplicable british accent. The American goverment isn't portrayed in a very positive light, the whole crisis was caused by a incredibly shady black project of the military industrial complex that flies in the face of international law. The secretary of defense tries drop a nuke on you at the end of the game to try and keep the whole thing under wraps.

Metal Gear Solid 2: You fight russians, but they're being led by the former president of the united states, who is trying to destroy an even bigger threat in the form of a shadow conspiracy behind the united states goverment.

Metal Gear Solid 3: You fight an extremist faction of the Russian army, who the Russian government also wants to get rid of, and participate in a joint operation between the CIA and the KGB. The CIA turns out to be major dicks who engineered the whole incident to get a bunch of money and threw one of their most loyal agents under the bus to do so.

Metal Gear Solid 4: You fight liquid and his pmc, who is actually ocelot who hypnotized himself into thinking he was liquid Either way, an American, and the whole game is basically a rant against the military industrial complex. And you also both assist and fight several third world militias along the way.

Peace Walker: The CIA and the KGB are both major jerks, and your closest allies are a Latin-American communist guerrilla group.
So not a single game do you fight an exclusively dark-skinned terrorist group to save democracy, the American government tends to be in a villainous role more often than not.
