So I just beat the game and I can see why everyone is disappointed.
I was very disappointed that all the build up was really just about a Big Boss double. I was hoping it would be about Big Boss starting his war against Zero and the Patriots and starting Outer Heaven, not that Zero was a good friend and made him a twin. Instead Big Boss is doing everything off camera and we don't contribute anything except steal from his character. I think it's funny that basically this whole game exists just to elaborate on how Big Boss "survived" Metal Gear 1
Why is Big Boss against genetic clones but not mental ones that look exactly like him?

I hope that Eli's story line gets resolved somehow even if they don't complete episode 51. Right now I believe, Eli just loses his Metal Gear and wants a new one leading to MGS 1.

I was also disappointed that the Diamond Dogs never provide ground support at any point in the game, even when Miller says they would. At least the MSF saved Big Boss in Peacewalker.
I still enjoyed the game and will keep playing even though the ending was a let down. I also only just realized that Snake's fulton strap is his devil tail. :stupid:
The whole point is that YOU'RE big boss
YOU did what big boss supposedly did

OK, so some faggot attacked my FOB and took some of my staff. No big deal, except one of them was my FUCKING RUSSIAN INTERPRETER. I haven't gone back to Afghanistan after rage quitting, so I can't tell if I still have the Russian translation skill, but if I don't, is there a way to get him back? Retaliation isn't an option because he successfully infiltrated my FOB.

Best part of this: there is a certain Russian guy who hangs out at your base and still you need an interpreter.

That was seriously anti-climatic. I fultoned him expecting a boss fight.

I remember seeing someone had to move a Afrikaans translator to Quarantine and Snake could still understand Afrikaans so maybe the language is permanently unlocked as soon as you find the guy?

i have been playing in my spare time, for now i have fired lots of scrubs from my base (C-E rank) because africa is suddenly full of A-A+ soldiers in every skill, now i'm farming fuel to continue the improvement of my base

noob question how do you unlock the FOB missions? i have to progress more on the history to unlock it or something? i'm right now on the mission to steal a caravan in africa

Maybe I should stop killing so many russians...this is level 2 horn, right?

I have learned a lot from splinter cell: blacklist, my snake only has the lvl 1 horn, all my weapons are non lethal, i only kill when there are missions of killing heavy infantry, sometimes those soldiers doesn't have good stats and is a pain in the ass to fulton them so i kill them with the knife

yeah TPP plays almost exactly as Splinter cell blacklist

Actually I'm killing people on purpose but only on side ops because you don't get a rating on those.

Start mission 21 and you get a surprise emergency mission.

It's voiced by the same guy that voices Miller. Posting it not just because of related voice actor but also for anyone that finds a certain series of tapes in Phantom Pain.

Anyone going to play MGO with me tomorrow? :heart-full:

Well, the update has fuck up the game entirely. fuck you konami.

So I was browsing Google Images trying to find an MGSV related signature for another forum I browse and I found these. I really love Kaz in this.

What's everyone's opinion on MGO3 so far? I'm kind of disappointed that there are only 3 game modes when past versions had more variety. On the other hand, it loads a lot nicer with fewer lags.
