Hollywood rots your mind. But at least this freemason worshiping faggot doesn't work on Metal Gear anymore.
I came here to say this but you said it first, I'd also like to add that all of the redacted text just made me think he found SCP bullshit and thought it was actually good. This looks fucking horrible and I know it won't but I hope it ruins the careers of everyone involved.

Pretty sure that I have posted this guy works here before, but it is so impressive that one guy has made it.
He managed to figure out how the goofy metal gear TX-55 could work.

How does this homo continue to work when his games don't sell anywhere near the competition?
I'm convinced that Sony (and I guess now Microsoft) *really* want a "Miaymoto" type of video game personality for their brands.

And as someone else said, the massive amounts of product placement he puts in his games must offset a lot of the wasted money too. It's kind of cute for how much of a weirdo auteur director Kojima wants to promote himself as, he comes off as such a sellout whore when it with the product placement. I feel like a lot of the directors I would assume he looks up to would actually look down on that kind of thing.

I've seen a lot of people liken Kojima to David Lynch, and it always makes me think of this clip.

I'm convinced they think he's a genius who will churn out masterpieces regularly if given the right environment and resources, he made Metal Gear! How much money they are willing to spend on him before reconsidering this is the real question.

Watching some alternate cutscenes I missed, I realised that if you choose correct gun but purposefully miss Ocelot in the final duel, it turns out to be a real bullet, leaving a hole in the wall behind him. That kind of blows IMO, because instead of a humerous reveal of the cunning ruse he's been playing all game, this instead shows him to be a madman who was really willing to sacrifice the mission or his own life for the sake of a pointless game of chance. It also paints all those times he failed to kill Snake as legitimate fuck ups rather than covert support.

Say whatever you want about MGS 4 but when its able to make you feel sad, it fucking breaks you

If this sequence doesnt break your heart (even if we know it ends in a fake out)

I guess its just how uncomfortable the whole sequence is with David having one last smoke and slowly shoving the whole barrel inside his mouth as he makes these gutteral sounds that even imply he is afraid of pulling the trigger (even worse that this might be the first time he ever does demonstrates it). Ah yes, the music doesnt help one fucking bit.

Kind of crazy to imagine Big Boss was right over there, watching that in silence, probably wondering if David will actually go through with it or not, not intervening likely out of the principle that he has the right to make the choice if he wants to stick around or not.

Naked Snake was like a little boy in a trained grown man's body, right down to getting excited over getting a new "toy".
If we get a remake of the first two Metal gears, I would be very happy.

Im surprised that hasnt happened yet, not just because these entries are old and could have updated gameplay but because they are kind of the missing link between the Big Boss and Solid Snake saga, the short period where Big Boss is full villain mode. Nevermind that people often forget that MGS acted almost like a soft reboot where the first two games are still canon but they did retcon some new lore that didnt happen in them (like Big Boss apparently having informed Snake he is his father at some point, which has never happened in neither game and that Big Boss from MG1 is Venom Snake).

I remember how people kept asking for an epilogue DLC for MGS 5 set during the Outer Heaven Uprising and it would finish with Solid's fight but now we are playing as Venom, with the "canon" outcome that Venom loses and perishes in the explosion.

Remake MG1 and 2 would also help to establish and enrich David and Frank Yeager's relationship as the former did say the latter "showed him the ropes" and some did say their relationship was akin to Naked Snake and The Boss. It would surely help make MGS's events more tragic as we would have seen Frank as both an ally and then adversary (not even an enemy as Snake was rather professional about it and that it wasnt a reason to ruin their friendship over).

Of course you can drop some easter eggs like Snake asking if Frank has family and the latter giving a dismissive and short "No", foreshadowing Naomi. Another one is in the aftermath of his boss fight in MG2, you can see his body with explosion injuries all over and if you wait long enough, you can hear he is still breathing just very faintly. Hell, you could even have a nod to Portable Ops with Gray Fox using using "Null" as a fake name or mentioned something happened in San Hieronymo he much rather "Not talk about".
I was trying to remember today: is there a codec conversation where someone unironically says, "ftw"? Search is so bad these days and the fact I can't remember which character, if any, says it doesn't help. Is that a thing in any game?

MGS 4 had Campbell comparing MRE from different countries during a Codec call and he came to the conclusion that America's MRE is the worst tasting one, leading to him sarcastically stating "America For the Win..."

It had a sardonic context that their enemies were eating better than them in the battlefields and a reminder their superiors didnt give enough of a shit to provide something better tasting.

Finally finished my first run of Delta. Again, the least offensive of the remakes I've played, but still disappointing. The first Volgin fight actually seemed somewhat better, but the 2 other fights were as boring and easy at they were in the original. The chase sequence is whatever and the escort part was annoying although that was probably because I was playing on hard. I usually clear that part without much issue but I've never played Snake Eater on hard before. I still managed to nonlethal kill every boss.

The final fight with The Boss was weird in the remake. If you have the right camo, you can crouch walk around the area and still have 75-80% index, which mostly breaks the encounter. Even though I was using a non-silenced mosin-nagant, I was able to pick her off from a distance for most of the fight and she almost never ran at me. The CQC element of the fight is changed but nothing major.

A mostly unnecessary remake. I honestly still think Twin Snakes did a better job. I recently replayed through all of that via Dolphin and still enjoyed it a lot.

The CQC hug is canon because it gives me feels.

Did you have to replay the fight because you were too far away to pick up the snake camo in time after you beat her? Me neither...

Same.
I find it really fitting that after all the bullshit Snake went through in MGS4 and being on breaking point of killing himself, BB coming not to fight him is a nice touch.
that the VAs in the japanese version were father and son whoes relationship was not the best at the time, gives it a nice touch.

I just barely managed to run over there and get it in time. Not that it really matters, since I won't be touching Delta again any time soon. I will say I find her dismantling your weapon and ammo when you get caught to be neat. I almost never saw that during the fight in the original.

Putting celebrities in your game is cancer. Never played Death Stranding because it looked pretentious and boring as hell. This already looks pretentious, hopefully we will get to see some gameplay after a couple more cutscenes trailers.
David Hayter got axed literally just so Koji could wine and dine with Keifer Sutherland. It was retarded then and it's retarded now.
Yeah. The game hit over a million in sales despite being limited to PS5. Once the other ports start to come out, it'll pick up steam (no pun intended).
I don't trust any numbers released by Soyny, Koji, or any other faggot with a name/brand to sell. I don't buy it. Some of us still remember the DS1 days where you had to have multiple qualifiers to make the release seem halfway good... "It's the greatest release in gaming history!... on PS5... in Japan... for the second quarter... and in the amazon walking simulator genre...."
