Just for you.

None, all memes are precious and loss of a single meme is a loss to humanity

Also Kekistan, glad that's dead

EDIT: Also the Harambe memes got old after literally a day but they persisted for far, far longer.

Darude - Sandstorm

Was really annoying when you wanted to know the name of a song in a video, but everybody answered with the same stupid meme.

There's not many memes from the 2000s that I don't miss but screamers is definitely up there.

I think screamers* is what killed YTMND, it got to the point where you couldn't load a new site without turning the volume almost all the way down and even then sometimes they would hide the loud audio until later.

It got to be too much of a pain in the ass to deal with.

*screamers in the context of YTMND not necessarily being screaming but simply incredibly loud audio.

I’ll be glad when vibe check is finally dead. It’s not fucking funny.

Any reddit tier "GOOD THING BAD THING" templates

It's the same shit repeated at nausum just with different templates

228,732 HEE-LARIOUS COMMENTS

And at least 7 of them are people asking for the song name within the last 24 hours. Maybe more, if the foreign language comments were making the same joke.

I'd argue the hyperbole of 00s internet culture is my favorite death. When done well it was kind of funny, but it spread out to unoriginal and unfunny types so you have these nerds calling everything epic or overly stating how bad something was, and that was pretty annoying.

To name a specific meme, I guess Kek/Meme Magic. Pretty cringe to pretend to be a pagan cultist using your magic powers to get Trump elected.

It's not dead but it's dying: comparing yourself to garbage/trashcans or saying "That is TOTALLY me" to every fucking dumb picture or GIF of something online.

One that IS dead and I happily toss cigarette butts on its grave is "Perfect Cinnamon Roll Too Pure For This World".
