After finding out that sikh saar is actively outsourcing parts to factories directly in India, one of my biggest questions has been as such: Which firearms companies don't use Indian factories or H1B jeets to make their guns/parts? What firearms companies are the biggest offenders when it comes to using jeets?
In a ideal world, I don't want any gun of mine to have a SINGLE part that came from a Indian factory. I don't care if the part comes from the best factory in the entire country of India, I don't want even one cent of my money going to these scamming street shitters.

sig sauer is the only big firearms manufacturer that labels any part as "made in india" as far as i can tell. the fact that they're the only one with any social media posts complaining about "made in india" parts is sufficient evidence of absence for me, as you're required by law to label the country of origin for parts you sell individually. i know S&W makes stuff in india but it appears to stay over there given the lack of anyone complaining about jeeted parts.

I know some Indian military and LEO units use IWI products like the Tavor and it may only be for domestic use. Frankly there's no good reason to do business with these companies anyways.

I know their QC has probably improved over the last 3 and a half decades but those range armorer thoughts at the time so long ago when they were a new brand still color my opinions on everything they make to this day.

Remember the Franklin Armory Antithesis? That supposed "not an SBR" SBR that Franklin was gonna kill the NFA with by "designing" it to fire multiple projectiles but then got too cocky and got slapped down by the ATF to their arrogance last year? Well they're trying to recoup their investment by selling their multi projectile rounds as small game ammunition
YOU shut your FILTHY whore mouth! That's the Ghost in the Shell "Mateber"!
Honestly, this is the Mateba that I want. The auto-revolver is cool, but this one is so much cooler, and WAY better than the Chiappa Rhino despite (IIRC) being designed by the same guy. I really wish they would bring the whole Mateba lineup back. A second choice would be the .454 Casull auto-revolver.
IWI allows for local production in India (shitshow, nothing they make leaves the country), Ukraine (see FORT guns), Colombia and Chile (Galil ACE licensed production for both ) with IWI having given consulting assistance to the Vietnamese military with their kinda Galil ACE derivative service rifle, the SVT although initially the Vietnamese were supposed to just license produce a tweaked Galil ACE.... Oh and the US market stuff is assembled at the IWI facility in Tennessee out of US and Israeli components.
Iirc Caracal does all or almost all production in the UAE barring some parts assembly into finished rifles for the US market.
Didn't know Taurus willfully made their shit worse with Indian manufacturing
Guess when Beretta left them literally everything they needed to be a successful gun manufacturer including their tooling and in depth mechanical documentation, it's in their blood as Brazilians to burn it all to the ground for literally no reason

Basically what happens every time Americans and Europeans leave behind something successful and perfectly functional in a country full of primitives. Doesn't matter if it's a firearms company, a railroad network, or even simple buildings. South America, India, Africa, the pattern always repeats: leave something that works perfectly for the primitives to oversee and maintain and they always fuck it up.

Wait until you guys find out how many forgings come from india. And if a forging comes from india but the machining is done in another country you aren't going to see india on the packaging for that part.

We can add CZ/Colt, and Smith and Wesson to the IndoMIM list.. https://youtube.com/watch?v=woIHro4agpg
Very disappointing, as I had planned on picking up a P10C, but now that I know they have SAARMIM parts, not now, or ever.
Andrew is indeed a great dude. Been IG friends with him since before he started OCL. I bet he'd still honor his company's warranty on products that owners did some very dumb shit with that they were explicitly told not to. Some, anyway.
Because of that fucking super punchable face that fucking annoying voice of his.
Back to gun stuff: Still having a great time shooting that Bodyguard with only one hand. If I hold it with a normal two-handed grip I get a little bit of slide bite. Only pistol that's ever happened to me with. The reason I'm getting a kick out of running it with one hand is because I had to very consciously work on pulling the trigger with a good amount of force without disturbing the sights. That has carried over to my DA/SA stuff in way I didn't expect.
I can even get A zone hits at 25 yards with it now. Not very quickly but consistently.
Yup. .357 Mag (of course), .44 Rem Mag, and .454 Casull. IIRC they all came with lower weight springs so that you could also shoot their lower powered parent cases (.38 Spcl, .44 Spcl, .45 Colt) and still have the auto function cycle properly.
If I remember correctly Indian tavors use special magazines because the Indians being retards that they are made a custom 5.56 and the overall length is too big to fit in a STANAG magazine.
