According to Robert Cekada, the hack was a nothing burger and only targeted boring nerd shit nobody cares about
Materials stolen during the attack may or may not have been published on the Dark Web, but ATF maintains what was stolen was boring nerd shit nobody cares about

Gun Owners of America is claiming that the data is 6.3GB worth and consists of "criminal investigation target names, phone numbers, IP addresses, iCloud data, Cellebrite phone dumps, and more."

I think they branched out to all after it looked like they weren't trying hard enough. I just remember seeing them waddling up to booths at trade shows to serve papers and that's when Rare Breed was considered irredeemable trash not to be pitied.
Originally it was AR FRTs then they branched out to all FRTs
Why are they going after retailers for patent infringement and not the manufacturers who are allegedly infringing their patent though? I also seem to remember it being speculated that going after all the infringers was part of RB's deal with the Biden DOJ. If so why hasn't that been reversed by Trump's DOJ?
They are going after both, originally it was manufacturers and then it expanded to retailers as well. Hoffman for example is the manufacturer of the Super Safety and he is being sued.

I totally get going after manufacturers (even though I disagree their patent covers every FRT) but going after retailers seems way over the line. Biden wanted every mom-and-pop put out of business by any means necessary so I see that angle in this too but why is Trump allowing it to stand?

EDIT: I cross-posted the ATF hack post above to USPG

Multiple phone dumps contained in 6.3GB? What sort of phones were they? Old Nokias?

This is the same energy when the government claims a strike of some sort isn't serious or embarrassing. Government love collecting personal data but not protecting it.

Doesn't federal law say they have to notify people if their personal info was leaked? That's gonna be awkward notifying your targets who didn't know they were targets.

this image causes me great discomfort and i am unable to fully articulate why. i know at least one reason is that this person is willing to blow hundreds of dollars on a meme PCC but settles for a turkshit shotgun. it just feels... off. like they're clearly into guns while not knowing shit about them. which as i'm typing this out that's just r/liberalgunowners in general, but the fursuit piqued my interest.
If you look closely the AR setup is also shitty. I can't exactly tell what manufacturer , but it has one of those budget only 4 mlok direction rails you see on cheap ARs, and hes running a firefield optic, and those make Primary Arms look like Trijicon in comparison.

Not to suck off Trump too much, but Trump and his DOJ/ATF has nothing to do with a private business (rare breed triggers) suing another private business (manufacturers and I guess now retailers of FRTs)in civil court for patent infringement. The only thing you can blame him/his ATF for is the settlement where ATF told Rare Breed "We agree to disagree that FRTs are machine guns, but in exchange for us not appealing and wasting more of your time and money or harassing your customers, we want you to sue the shit out of every FRT variant for patent infringement. Also pretty please don't make FRTs for handguns, and keep them expensive so not every nigger on OBlock has one."
Rare breed deciding to not only sue the manufacturers (already bullshit since while they have similar function, the actual designs are totally different) but also retailers is a dick move and I'm pretty sure the settlement only required them to enforce their patent against manufactures, but the Rare Breed guy has been a greedy dick since day one so this is unsurprising, he was suing copycats even before the ATF banned FRTs, then he would steal their inventory and sell it on his site. I don't even think he came up with the FRT concept, he just bought some abandoned patent and was the first guy to risk selling it.

That's what I'm criticizing. Not to TMI but I know for a fact that Trump isn't as pro-2A as the believers think (Don Jr lied to my face about legalizing suppressors during the 2016 transition). Gun rights are very much on the table for a trade.

I haven't kept up with it as much as I would like to because FRTs are pretty much illegal in my state (AOWs are exempt from our FRT ban) but from what I have heard through the grapevine RBT's patents on the tech are based on the Tac-Con 3MR patent, which they did not disclose during their patent initial filings and have actively hid from court filings and documents while they were trying to buy out the patent. That patent is actually held by Dark Flame Innovations (Triggered Company/Partisan) and predates the RBT patents by 5+ years.

I don't really think Trump can do much about a private company suing another private company for patent infringement, all we can really hope for is that Dark Flame Innovations gets RBT's patents revoked. They seem to be a lot more laissez faire regarding other FRTs.

The only things I've had luck killing with a .410 have been small game such as squirrel or rabbit... within 20 yards. My dad got a 28ga semi-auto from one of my friends, one of those turkish jobs. It's a sweet shooter and works well enough for pest disposal without having to bring out the 12 gauge.
you just don't have any lee way with a 410. you've got be a absolute marksman with them to hit birds and running game.

Why not 20 gauge? The kick of a 20 gauge target load is basically nothing and those are probably more common and cheaper to shoot than 28...

It's also going to be closer to the feel and handling of a 12 gauge which is what you want to be practicing for anyway so that once little Johnny gets a real trap gun it isn't a huge adjustment.
My point was that if you're set on a .410 you should get a 28 gauge instead. same size gun and much better ammo.

They got banned from Shotshow for it in 2025 as they used someone else’s badge to get in and serve people. The NSSF has a very strict policy of not allowing legal service at Shot as they worry it will reduce attendance, especially from exhibitors.

Lmao Rare Greed Niggers is an apt name

I just got a promo email from SilencerCo claiming they are now selling suppressors without a Form 4 in states that are legal. YMMV.

I wonder if this means we can make as many suppressors at home as we want now without a form 1?

I've been wanting to get into disposable 3d printed cores because making traditional baffles on a manual lathe is a huge pain in the ass.

This is all such a clusterfuck.
