The CX4 Storm reminds me another furry who owned one of those, Admiral Roflcakes from /k/, who lost all his guns after he went crazy and had an armed standoff in his home with police. Last I heard they had shipped him off to the looney bin but I'm sure he's been back on the streets for a long time. This was ~15 years ago.
Now that’s a name I haven’t heard in a very long time.

Fuck you from one fellow oldfag to another.

Ay @DocAwe which one of these is you
we need to pray for that dog
Nigga you are trying to manufacture and sell $7000 Rifles to RUSFOR airsoft nerds who attend Milsim West religiously and dudes who play way too much Stalker GAMMA.
watch this shit come out and get memoryholed and put on forgotten weapons in 15 years with all the respect of a crossfire

Why does Ruger have schizophrenic caliber offerings for the No. 1? You can buy a new one chambered in .257 Weatherby but not .30-06 or .270 Winchester.
because they are not regular production guns. the distributors order small runs each year, usually in some zany caliber and config. now, they do usually offer that same config in a more normie caliber. right now they have both .308win and 6.5 creed offerings at lipseys.
Ruger probably only really makes No.1s for one or two weeks a year. I doubt they make more than 1,000 in a year, and its probably a lot less.

They have been made in every caliber under the sun from .22 hornet to .577 nitro so check on gunbroker and gunsinternational and you'll easily find what you want.

this image causes me great discomfort and i am unable to fully articulate why. i know at least one reason is that this person is willing to blow hundreds of dollars on a meme PCC but settles for a turkshit shotgun. it just feels... off. like they're clearly into guns while not knowing shit about them. which as i'm typing this out that's just r/liberalgunowners in general, but the fursuit piqued my interest.

50% chance this guy ends up on the news someday.

410 is dead these days. Ammo costs a fortune. Half the time I see it 28ga is cheaper by a hair
My dad gave me a Stevens 59A bolt action .410 when I was 10 years old. My grandmother hated Bluejays eating the food she put out for songbirds and offered me $.25 for every one I shot. Being cheap hillbillies once I got up to $20 of birds she changed it to a nickel per. I passed it on to family a few years ago since I had no use for .410 anymore. Many a bowl of squirrel mulligan were consumed from .410 kills. I wouldn't buy one myself now but if I had another descendant around 10-12 I would probably give them a 20g.

Does anyone know the story behind Rare Breed suing small gun shops for patent infringement just for selling FRT's? Apparently they're suing MidSouthArms now? I've bought from them in the past and was surprised to see a GoFundMe plea in the mailbox today. I thought it was spam. They don't get much smaller and inconsequential than this guy.

- Paywalled

I’m David, and I’m starting this fundraiser for my small business as I face a lawsuit from Rare Breed Triggers over alleged patent infringement. I never imagined I would be in a position where I had to ask for help like this, but the legal costs of defending myself are more than my business can handle alone. Anyone who knows me knows that my business is small, and a situation like this can quickly become overwhelming. I am doing my best to keep moving forward, but the expense of fighting this lawsuit has put a serious strain on me and on everything I have worked hard to build.

The funds raised here will go toward attorney fees for this case. For a small business, legal representation is incredibly expensive, but it is necessary for me to have a fair chance to respond and defend myself. If you know me, support my business, or simply want to help a small business owner through a difficult time, I would be deeply grateful for your support. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference and help me continue this fight. Even if you are not able to give, sharing this fundraiser with others would mean a lot to me.

EDIT: ARFCOM has a thread, a ton were filed at the same time as this one and their lawyer even screwed up one and filed the lawsuit against himself: https://www.ar15.com/forums/General...orting-rare-greed-in-court/5-2798492/?page=24

.410 is such a bad gun to give to kids, IDK how that ever got started. the shot column is so dense and long that it in effect makes the .410 a masters weapon. A 28ga gun is nearly the same size as a .410, with very similar recoil but patterns SO much better. I really think .410 is on the way out.

Why not 20 gauge? The kick of a 20 gauge target load is basically nothing and those are probably more common and cheaper to shoot than 28...

It's also going to be closer to the feel and handling of a 12 gauge which is what you want to be practicing for anyway so that once little Johnny gets a real trap gun it isn't a huge adjustment.

The rifles and shotguns I received at Christmas were family hand me downs. I miss the days when I was 12 and could ride my bike to the hardware store to buy ammunition with my allowance by myself. Nowadays niggers have fucked it up for every young rural kid who has been taught properly. My first NIB was a double barrel 20 but the gem was my Dad's 12g Remington 1100 at 14. I am somewhat confused why my mid 60's 1100 is worth almost twice what the Smith & Wesson Model 1000 12g he bought in the mid 80's though. At least in Blue Book values.

The only things I've had luck killing with a .410 have been small game such as squirrel or rabbit... within 20 yards. My dad got a 28ga semi-auto from one of my friends, one of those turkish jobs. It's a sweet shooter and works well enough for pest disposal without having to bring out the 12 gauge.

Anyone remember STALKER and some 5.7x28mm obsessed troon named Marissa? There were a lot of great /k/ lolcows.
i remember some creepy gay tripfag that kept posting his undertale pedo AR, saying gay shit with Hunter 3-1 Actual's name any time he posted, and like five max post threads of ultra rank autists arguing for and against a revolver being semi-automatic

The DOJ went after Rare Breed in court, Rare Breed apparently had the case dropped with the stipulation that they be the DOJ's bitch and viciously enforce their patent and IP which seems to be interpreted by Rare Breed as absolutely any and all handgun-based FRTs.

They go after all FRTs not just handgun ones

Why are they going after retailers for patent infringement and not the manufacturers who are allegedly infringing their patent though? I also seem to remember it being speculated that going after all the infringers was part of RB's deal with the Biden DOJ. If so why hasn't that been reversed by Trump's DOJ?
