That's beefy looking. Can't wait to see it done.

So what's everyone's consensus on "break in's" How much do you think it matters, how many rounds etc? Going to break in a buddies new Walther PPS feels nice in hand. I don't own anything working in 9mm (I keep meaning to get that sten done but whiskey keeps getting in the way) so I gotta load up on rounds I'm thinking 250 seems like a good work out for both me and it.

Honestly, biggest break in thing IMO is to make sure you get the packing lube/preservative out of it and oil it up like you're fucking Paula Dean.

My LRB M14 barreled action arrived yesterday, and it's probably the highest quality rifle I've ever owned. The machining, fit and finish is simply outstanding and I can't wait to have this project completed.

There's not much to see yet and I've got a long way to go still, but the most important part is in my possession.
I would have expected it to have the rear recoil lug for a modern production receiver. Then again, if you are using the EBR stock, it wouldn't be necessary and LRB would know this if you talked to them about the stock you planned on using.

I had the option of going with a double lugged receiver, but it would've required a lot of machining to get it to fit the EBR chassis and offered little to no benefit. Not only that, but I'm trying to make my build as close to the Navy SEALs Mk14 Mod 0 as possible and they use standard M14 receivers.

oh, i'm aware. i've been quite busy all kinds of work lately and a lot of the boutique M14/M1A builds people have have both lugs where i'm taking them out of bedded wood or polymer stocks and fitting them to aluminum or "assault weapon" stocks. i'll need to buy a new safe or two as well as i'm running out of places to store things. CA has become very onerous lately and many are converting to featureless builds or are "getting it while i can before it's all gone or restricted or registered".

Reviews say it does function under water or after mud tests so I don't know what you're talking about. You probably just don't know guns at all.

Get a cz75 and get back to me how much you like your brick gun :P

The exact g20 I have is the SF since I have smaller hands. I really like how Glock offers a full size pistol with smaller hand grips. A nice detail since they are often duty guns and not everyone can use a full size well and no reason NOT to carry a full size if OC for work.
