You slapped a Venom on that? I hope it actually works, to my knowledge the only duty grade MRDS right now are the Trijicon RMR and RMRcc, and the Holosun 507 and 507k X2.
Did you get an early 509 with the magwell wobble? I remember reading that was a big problem when FN introduced those. So far I've only gotten to handle one at a gun store but they seemed like okay guns.
the Aimpoint ACRO and Doctor Noblex as well. it's worth noting that neither the 507 nor 407 are reliable with some submachineguns. tried on both a UMP and MP5, as well as a Colt SMG. something about the recoil impulse breaks the electronics i guess, but they stop working after a couple mags. i doubt this would be an issue on a pistol.
Heard nothing on the Noblex and only bad shit about the Acro P1.
i've been toying around with a P-1 on an Glock 23 MOS for a little while and it seems to work fine through a combination of drills, duty holster/duty belt day to day carry, and dumb things like "responding to B&E on tricycle" where it's constantly being knocked on something. battery life is meh.
I'm going to use my discount with Aimpoint to get a Acro P2 for my buddy and depending on what he thinks about it, I might get the mailbox for one of my pistols or try it on my MP5. NV friendly is practically a requirement these days as anyone can get a monocular now to fuck around with. I like the 5 year always on shit with current optics but honestly isn't a big deal to me as long as you don't have to remove the optic to change batteries (looking at you, Trijicon). I hope Eotech re-enters the MRDS market with something a lot better than their last attempt.

The various 2nd amendment groups had better be readying a legal challenge to this law ASAP.The proposed ATF rules for braces pistols are out and don't bother even looking at the new point system they want as literally the first sentence on the form makes it pointless.

It’s perfectly capable of stopping small caliber sounds at ~20 feet. At least .22LR from what I remember.
