I currently own a fin grip with my AR but I believe the fin grip look more natural aesthetic with the AKs over the ARs.

Look How They Massacred My Boy dot jay peg
I'm hoping to get my nj fid license sometime this year and a handgun permit (because you need both in this demorat hole state) and my first gun will be the smith and wesson model 629 the same gun used by my hero in my pfp captian rhodes.
but like i said nj's guns laws are second only to commiefonia with how bad they are and phil murphy has vowed to make them worse. including requiring owner to get thie fid card renewed every four years. and raising the prices to get a gun license. Thankfully that hasn't happened...yet.
oh well...hopefully i can get everything in order and pass all the checks and get fingerprinted.
how in the actual hell do you think free floated barrels are a memeAlso learned about sopmod and that mark 18 mod 1 stuff. Looks more user friendly than this mlok free floating meme stuff.

I get they comfortable but don't like the mlok stuff and having to make sure its a T as it took me hours to attach a handstop to it.how in the actual hell do you think free floated barrels are a meme
So with Iron Sights and Red Dots, Is it okay to aim with both eyes while head back or one eye down for accuracy?Inexperience.
1. Oh. That's not what free float means. Free float means "does not touch the barrel" and in many guns (such as the Accuracy International guns that popularized the concept) has nothing to do with mlok attachments.I get they're comfortable but don't like the mlok stuff and having to make sure its a T as it took me hours to attach a handstop to it.

Not to be snarky, but it would depend on your mount. Some AK mounts are almost high enough that you can get the dust cover off with them on, some are much more slim and reasonable.Has anyone ever put an Eotech on an AK optic mount? How high does it sit? Torn between the Eotech and an MRO.
Unless you're using a dust cover mount (so either a zenitco or the native one on a Zastava), enjoy your chin weld. From what I understand, the MRO is wildly unpopular right now for a number of reasons. I personally love Eotechs but they're chonky as hell on AKs.Has anyone ever put an Eotech on an AK optic mount? My rail isn't that high luckily, definitely can't get the dust cover off.Not to be snarky, but it would depend on your mount. Some AK mounts are almost high enough that you can get the dust cover off with them on, some are much more slim and reasonable.
If you know the height over bore of the rail, add the EoTech (or any other sight) to that and there you go, a comparison before you've even ever spent any money.
I'm not sure about the MROs I've heard complaints but I've also heard all those problems were with the 1st gen MROs.Unless you're using a dust cover mount (so either a zenitco or the native one on a Zastava), enjoy your chin weld.
