Been rewatching Code Geass on the treadmill lately. I forget how fun it is. The ending sorta sucks, but it's a really entertaining ride throughout. I want a cozy slice-of-life spinoff about Jeremiah, Sayoko and Anya's life as a surrogate family on the orange farm.

Not normally a dub guy, but I prefer dubs when I'm running so I don't have to try and look at subs through sweat-covered eyes. Crispin Freeman's line read when Jeremiah comes back at the end of the first season is so good. Everyone is giving some really hammy and theatrical performances. No substitute for the original cast, but they clearly put in a lot of effort.

Right now this would be a godsend. The closest thing to Brave that im consuming to keep me sated is Swordgrader(highly recommend) and been rewatching might gaine and Exkaiser.
Some of the 70s shows and Sentai shows are pretty close to a typical Brave show. I'm deliberately holding off on Dagwon and Go-Saurer so I don't exhaust all those shows immediately. Also, I'm glad Saber Varion is in Sworgrader -- that's such a cool robot, so I hope the little police Beetle with the robot dog appears. Maybe Layzelber, but I won't count on that (Layzelber is one that should have been a full anime).

It is the birthday of this character

I feel that if they male swordgrader into an anime, it would be the perfect entryway for anyone interested in Braves. Which would make Swordgrader the modern Brave.

I know Dancouga Nova gets a lot of hate, but can we talk about how cool this thing is?

It transforms into a jet, has a cloaking device, has wings on its head, and lights up in the dark. This is probably the coolest support unit I've seen for any robot period. The D-Poseidon is also pretty cool, and there are lots of great MOTWs, like Dorvack Whirls and transforming Genocidron battleships. I had no idea I'd end up rewatching Dancouga Nova so much, but here we are. It may as well be the military Brave! Also I hope some day there's a Moderoid of the Gravion Gran Troopers; those are really cool.

For a second i thought that was Compatible Kaiser. Looks sick though, might give Dancouga a try.

I've never seen Nova get a ton of hate. Other than how cheap it is. Otherwise, it's a good time.

But, that's sorta the norm for the franchise. The OG show was a borderline slideshow at points and only the sequel OVAs really had good-looking animation.

Both are Obari designs.

No Braves?
It's supposed to be a statue of all the OVA mecha (Zephyranthes, Alex, Ingram, Griffon, Gunbuster, Guyver, Neo Byston Well, Starship Troopers), so there wouldn't be any Braves there. Ultraman must have had a direct-to-video release to be included here.

Nah. Look at the moai head. And the fact that the pillars have "emotion" written on them. It's all stuff that was put out by Bandai's Emotion label.
