Hypest Shinkalion this week. There were cool wheel monsters, E6 got a really cool blaster attack with a turret, and Doctor Yellow arrived with ridiculously powerful attacks! Doctor Yellow is probably the most powerful Shinkalion, so it would be pretty cool if it could exist simultaneously in both the Metaverse and the real world thanks to FTL tricks or something and possibly have something to do with that mysterious door.

Dragonar was cool. I still think it was designed with intent to sell GI Joe style action figures and toys.

I might be mixing up stuff but I think it was like, "Kawamori had a big pile of newage-y ideas and crystals and demons and whatever, and part of that pile became Esca and part became M7?"

Like how (iirc) Tomino gets a credit on Vifam because it pulls from some scrapped concepts from an early Gundam concept

Not this time. It's a lot more serious -- if anything, it reminds me of Aquarion Logos because of the metaverse fighting, the fighting squad being a secret school club, and the launch sequences. Hopefully it leads to cool powerlevel robots in the end as well.
 
It would really be nice to have a GaoGaiGar: The Origin that shows the fall of the Red and Green Planets and the creation of Zonder Metal. Imagine the politics you could show! Imagine all the big fleet battles you could have! You could have multiple J-Arks battling side-by-side! Similarly, it would be cool to see life on Alktos before Galfa's takeover.

Right now this would be a godsend. The closest thing to Brave that im consuming to keep me sated is Swordgrader(highly recommend) and been rewatching might gaine and Exkaiser.

Nah. I'd rather just have Hakaioh get animated. Prequels are boring, especially ones where you know exactly what'll happen.

Escaflowne always been intended to be it's own thing but with Macross influence. Of course the preliminary mecha designs got yeeted as they're too Macross like, and replaced with the fantasy mecha designs that were used in Escaflowne.
