Has McDonald's been tinkering with the type of oil they use in their fryers? When I went there recently, both my McNuggets and fries had a corn-like aftertaste.

I tried the McRib for the first time today.

What the fuck? That is what people sperg over every few months? Some sort of prison meat patty, drowned in barbecue sauce, on a soggy bun, with two pickle slices and a light dusting of onions for an attempt at flavor that just gets overpowered by the barbecue sauce anyway? What the hell, man. And for what I paid for it I could have had a QPC or crispy chicken or something I would have actually enjoyed poisoning myself with. My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.
Agreed, the McRib hasn't been good in a long time, if ever. Its a fucking mess, the box they give it to you in is always soaked with sauce. Its like 4 bucks right now too, lololol

I got fries from them twice in the past two weeks from two different places, and I also noticed the fries were not as good as they usually are. I also have suspicions that the frying oil has been changed.

Wanted to get my free McDonald's back in May for being a hero (:smug:), but I didn't remember to get to them in time.
Same with Starbucks, but they never seemed to be open anyway.

Can you imagine being so lazy that you order McDonald's through grubhub?
I mean, I guess if you're drunk it's probably the right move.

"Duuuurrrrr...don't eat at McDonald's, buy all your food from famer's markets and go vegan. What, you can afford to do that? Lol, poofag."
McDonald's isn't cheaper than farm market stuff

Got a McRib the other day for the first time in years and it was better than I expected. There was way more than two pickles and a dusting of onions, a fair amount fell off the sandwich. Could have used a bit more sauce for my taste, but it didn't need to be any sloppier than it was if that makes sense. The bun was fresh, light, and not overpowering. The size made the patty more visually appealing, giving it an inch or so overlap on both ends. Also didn't hurt that the fries were hot and fresh. If I go back to McDonald's while it's available I probably won't get it (a double Filet 'O Fish this Friday sounds so good) but overall my McRib experience was positive. Better than last year anyway, when I went there specifically for one and when I got home the box contained a ten piece Mcnuggets instead.
I've had the new McRib twice and each time they drowned the thing in sauce and toppings. There was enough left over sauce that you could have another person coat a 10 piece McNuggets.

Almost nobody has talked about the mcgriddle wtf
It's probably their best breakfast sandwich. I wish it was larger though because you need to always eat more than one to feel full.

I did eat some nuggets and a filet-o-fish and lots of fries when we were checking out the new apartment.

Shame they don't have any lemonade lol.

I love the McRib, but they do use too much sauce and I keep getting it all over my hands. Tastes great though, and I wish it was available all year.

Never tried the McRib, and I really don't see the appeal of it. Always reminded me of that mystery meat you'd be served in the school cafeteria.

Only thing I don't really mind from McDicks though is the breakfast menu. Their burgers are nasty and their chicken is always dry and tastes like you licked a dirty ashtray.

The dollar McChicken is actually better than all the "premium" chicken sandwiches. Wendy's is better though.

My dog won't eat a lot of the food from mcdonalds and he LOVES people food, exists for it, he's the Amberlynn Reid of the dog world. I only give him a bite here or there though cause it's bad for his health. But he will not eat McDonald's eggs, pancakes, fries, or sausage. He treats it like it's just not food and he will eat all of those things with a passion from home or somewhere else ( again, he gets maybe three bites a day, but he's 12, he has a lot of experience) and so I know he's smelling something in there that says Do not eat! Also when I have cravings for mcdonalds it's the same type of cravings I get for drugs and alcohol and not the normal cravings I get for other food. They're doing SOMETHING with that food that puts them at the top in the world. Food tastes like shit but I'm loving it a little too much, and it's a physical thing, it goes beyond the psychological "relationship" mcdonalds builds with us from the age of two. I know a family that is in corporate for a mega chain fast food place and their kids are ten or so and have never had mcdonalds in their life. Because they KNOW it's awful and they are on the inside of the fast food world. They eat other fast food here and there but Ronald McDonald is not allowed near their kids.

I wonder what I'm eating when I chew on it and my otherwise ravenous doge refuses even to have a bit of it. That's obviously the McRib.

My dog did the opposite, he really likes sweet things so he removed the McRib box from the garbage and at the sauce covered cardboard.

What's worse is, my other dogs looked on as he did it and then they were also expecting to get their own mcrib box. If they're expecting food, they won't budge. And if you offering them different food items than what they want, they'll refuse them.
