Okay, all this burger talk is having me curious, so I bit the bullet to try the new McArch burger.

Looks like it's trying to be gourmet with its different cheeses, size and sauce. What a handful.

Edit: it's fine. The sauce is okay, but they overloaded it on the burger, which made a mushy mess through each bite. I don't know why they decided on adding onion chips. The texture? I couldn't tell because, again, the sauce made the onions soggy. Definitely overpriced, but filling.

I tried this the other day and found it way too salty, even for McDonald's. The cheese was flavorless and the sauce wasn't very noticeable at all, though it did indeed make what little onion they added to it very soggy. Not worth the price.

Fine, I hopped on the bandwagon and tried the Big Arch too the other day.

It’s interesting seeing people say it’s good or not bad. Before I got mine, my brother told me he had got it too and said that he really couldn’t taste anything. We chalked it up to him currently being sick with a cold and that maybe dulling his sense of smell/taste but he was right, the burger was so bland and tasteless it was pretty disappointing. Doubt I’ll get it again

Tried the big arch. Pretty good. I'm not sure how you could describe it as bland with the fairly tangy sauce. A bit more sour than the big mac sauce.

It's a bit too tall. When my own burgers get so tall I have trouble getting a big bite I consider it a failure and so should mickey d's. It was almost as good as a big mac but the dill was a bit too much for me. But I'm not really a fan of it generally. I couldn't get over the feeling it would be better with the big mac sauce. The meat wasn't as dry as their usual "premium" burger.

I liked it but a big mac, QP or double cheese is better

McDonalds is OK. It's overpriced though. I prefer Chick-fil-a.

Their best item is their fries, their best item WAS the chicken big mac. It's crazy that when I was a kid, McDonalds is what we'd eat when we were short on cash. Now it's what I eat when I get a huge cash injection and wanna eat gourmet

Had McDickholes again for the first time in a good while just out of idle curiosity and because someone else wanted some. It was worse than I remember (though the fries somehow were better than last time), and it's insane to demand the prices they do.

Bastards need to put some more mayonnaise to their burgers. Sometimes the little cheeseburger tastes like bastards had put two crusty buns together, cooken a dead seagull into patty, squirted a drop or two of ketchup and spit between the buns.

To compare Mcdries to Hesburger.. now there are some decent God damn burgers that will plug your veins, shorten your lifespan by 20 years, cause you stroke and give you a proper amount of mayonnaise.

McDonalds only had one good item (range) on their menu and they took it away. It being this:

But at least Burger King still has their equivalent of the Chicken Legend (I still hate the name, I hate calling things "legend". It's such an ugly word), the Chicken Royale. But like, if you're ever going to a Burger King you want a Burger. Not a Chicken Sandwich.

The QP is also their only burger with never-frozen beef.
I used to be a DQP no-onions no-pickles sort of guy, but then learned they make shit with veggies on it that isn't a Big Mac (something I've never found tasty) and went for it on a road trip. That QPD has now become a staple of my road trip bites if I haven't looked up a town I'm passing through in advance for a diner or something.

Their fries are good. I don't know whether McDonalds or Chick-Fil-A fries are better. Probably McDonalds since their fries you can have forever, Chick-Fil-A if you have too much the novelty wears off.

For a while McDonald's was superior because Chick-fil-A changed their formula and had them dry out.

McDicks in the UK (maybe elsewhere too?) is doing something new with trading cards starting next week, but I can't seem to find anything actually informative on it, only that it's happening.

I had the Big Arch. I was not disappointed and may day went quite well!

I LOVE onions on burgers BTW. If you don't like Onions on burgers you probably wont like it.

Had a Big Arch a few days back and yeah not a fan, might have been the one I got but the patties were either overcooked or they went too heavy with the salt cause they just fell apart too easily. Flavorwise the bun was a nice change but everything in between felt like the flavors weren't complimenting each other and nothing stood out.
