It could but then he'd have an excuse for his shitty behavior and less responsibility for it. I think his behavior is more in line with an unfunny attention whore than an actual psychopath/sociopath.

Maybe it's also because I remember going to school with "weird" kids like this who embraced being outcasts and tried to say the weirdest and most disturbing shit possible for attention and for your reaction.

Considering he did get previously arrested for wanting to be a Virginia Tech copy cat but then goes "oh no it was me tryna be super edgy and funne" really shows it is not something completely out of the blue. I would say it is more a last resort which he would take if nothing else game him the attention he oh so desperately craves

Rated you optimistic because he's a psychopath and is incapable of genuine guilt. He will never do the world the favor of neutering himself unless we all get lucky and he develops a full-blown fetish for being castrated. In which case he really would do it where most guys wouldn't, because he's the kind of person who is capable of anything. In which case doing something outrageously and publically gross with his severed balls would indeed be right up his alley.

He also strikes me as the kind of person who would continue to engage his exhibitionism even if he gets neutered, whether by himself or someone else. He'd get off on shocking and disgusting people by nonconsensually exposing his mutilated crotch and then try and argue his way out of any consequences on a technicality; he didn't show you his genitals because he doesn't have any, see?

No allure only desperation, I imagine. He's 35, so I think she's somewhere around that age, and the closer people get to 40 the more desperate they become. So it's probably like "it's better to be with this weirdo than alone" for her. I think you're right about her likely being in abusive relationship previously - people who were abused tend to get into abusive relationships again (it's called revictimization; study on it). IMO part of it is that people tend to stick to the devil they know, other part is that they're a victim and display all the signs of one, which attracts mostly predators. Well, I hope all this pedo apoligia and unwanted attention it draws will cause her to dump him
