How do these people exist? I'm reminded of Tolstoy's statement: "Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way."
 
There is also a picture of Nate in the hospital with electrodes taped to his head; the prevailing guess is that he's been seizing more since she had the baby, similar to what happened after Momo got married. A YTT member had a decent point (yeah, yeah, brace for another incoming apocalypse): her bad decisions affect Nate.
 
CPS made a visit to James and Maureen's trailer. Maureen puts the blame for this solely on YTT members making ween calls and insists she's done nothing wrong, they're just being unfairly harassed:

So it turns out that someone made an unsubstantiated report to CPS about our child who has been in the hospital since her birth a little over a week ago and who we go to see just about every day due to the hospital being so far away. I won’t go into detail, but I can say for sure that I know the person or people who made the report are from a gossip website where they have been threatening me since before the baby was born and make completely false allegations. I stopped trying to defend myself a long time ago because I found it was useless, but people there have made specific written threats against me, and someone even left a voicemail on a restricted number threatening to leak my phone number if I didn’t show them a picture ofthe baby. Anyhow, a CPS worker randomly called us about 2 days ago and demanded to meet with us on that day. We couldn’t meet with her on that day due to an unexpected emergency, and she harassed us over the phone saying that not meeting with her would result inour child being taken away. So we then set up a time for her to come to our house the following day. When the following day came around, she called us only 2 hours before we were scheduled to meet and said she would be unable to come until an hour later than what we had agreed upon. Even then she still arrived 30 minutes later than she said she would, and she also brought 2 other people with her. We did let them in the house because it was such short notice and they were threatening us and we didn’t want it to seem like we were hiding anything. We also talked to them and told them things because we didn’t want it to seem like we were trying to hide anything. Basically we had no idea what we were up against. The house was relatively decent when they looked at it, but the point is I had no idea that we didn’t legally have to let them see the house since they said that we DID have to, and I also know that they will try to use even the smallest thing against us. I just wonder what can we do now since they have already seen our house and we have already talked to them? The woman also said she would meet us again next week, but then she randomly called and demanded to meet today and we showed up where she wanted to meet today and waited for over an hour and she never showed up. We will certainly stand our ground against this woman now that I know I don’t have to give into her demands, but I am just afraid that everything we have already said and done can now be used as enough evidence that they may try to take thebaby away. I am however reluctant to even believe that the baby can be taken away since she hasn’t even been home yet and we have been going to see her every day except when circumvented by CPS, but I do wonder what we should do about CPS going forward, and how can we prevent the baby from being taken away at this point since we are doing everything right and have done nothing wrong.

I can't believe this idiot has a daughter now. It just goes to show that anyone can bring a child into the world, but only some of those people are parents.

I agree with the person who said all she's doing is worrying about her own interests, rather than seeing CPS is concerned with making sure her baby is okay.

Slightly off-topic, but I was lurking the YTT thread on Maureen and they got so bored/desperate for content that someone (who I think is a forum member here and has made the same mistakes here before) got completely cannibalized after trollsheilding.

YTT is a crazy place.

Anyway, I managed to get the ultrasound that someone over there posted of Claudia. The lines were from them trying to find the baby's facial features. I dunno much about this kind of stuff, but they're saying it looks really deformed.
They're also super A-loggy there, though...

YTT is grasping at straws if they're making fun of ultrasound photographs now. I'm legit embarrassed for them.

But Maureen is a complete weirdo, and I'm glad CPS is looking into taking Claudia (omg I love that name though! So beautiful!) away. Maureen one of the few lolcows who I could see killing someone. Her obsessions run so deep and get soooo dark. It would be in the best interest of everyone if she was kept far away from children.
 
I hope CPS takes the poor thing away, and starts looking into Nate's care, as well. I feel absolutely awful for Nate.
 
Yeah, I occasionally browse YTT and got all excited for new Kai/Mo dirt when I saw all the new posts, only to find it was just pages on pages of them ripping into this girl for power leveling too hard. *sigh*

According to what little actual content was on there, though, apparently Claudia's condition is worse than was previously believed, as she's on both a ventilator and a feeding tube.

Meanwhile Momo has been bitching about how she and James "have" to take time out of their schedules and visit her, and how the hospital parking is too expensive. Because the best thing to do when CPS is on your ass is publicly complain about what a nuisance your disabled kid is, amirite

omg no, poor little angel. What happened to her? Was there an injury or something? Oh that poor, poor little baby.

That is horrifically sad. I'm amazed that Maureen was able to conceive so soon after that kind of treatment. That's extremely unusual. Didn't Maureen also say that she fell while she was pregnant? I could have sworn I read an incredibly fake sounding story about her falling....

Yeah, I believe she said she was walking down a hill or something after some picnic and James helped her up in an astounding act of chivalry.

That's right! That was it. And she said that her doctor told her that everything would be just fine with the baby, which is UTTER BULLSHIT. Any fall could cause a detachment in the placenta causing the baby to become malformed, which is why falls are taking so seriously in pregnant women.
 
I believe they said the deformity is in the fact that the ultrasound was "cropped" and that the baby is missing half its face.
I dunno if that's the case, though. Ultrasounds are always kind of hard to read.

On the other hand, though, she's in the NICU with a feeding tube and breathing tube and that's not good. :(
 
I went over to YTT yesterday and tried reading through the latest part of Momo's thread. It's a goddamn clusterfuck. I can't tell what or who to believe, they're all so intent on over-dramatizing everything so any actual facts are hard to discern from the hyper-mutated A-logging. Adding onto that, Momo lies constantly, so it makes it even harder to sift through the shit.

If everything about the baby is true (or close to true) though, I do hope CPS and APS intervene and remove Claudia and Nate from Momo's care. She can't even take care of herself, let alone other human beings with advanced needs.

I can't fucking stand how they keep calling the baby "Crawdia" or "Claw". This is most likely a baby that will die or live a very unhappy life, and has herself done nothing to warrant that shit. It's like how they refer to Gracie as "Greasy". Every thread is 99% catty bullshit and 1% actual content. I can never stand reading that train wreck for too long, they're just so fucking vile and ridiculous. I'm not sure who they're trying to impress, but they just come off as edgy teenagers.
 
A picture that's allegedly of Claudia was posted. She doesn't look too good, her upper head and face were covered with a blanket. Not sure if it's appropriate for reposting.

I hope little Claudia pulls through and gets taken by social services, who in turn can also find Nate a better home.

Is it really necessary to put a blanket over the baby's head considering her current condition? Mo could have blurred out the face or put something over it digitally.
