It's going to be interesting to see who the alpha dogs of the rat king are if they start to jump over and drag their respective constellations of hangers-on with them. We all know they're going to return to Twitter once the circle jerking loses its charm. They want attention, and they can't get that in an environment with a single opinion on every issue. There's no controversy and no drama, and that's what they need to feed their ego.

I'm assuming they picked a Mastadon as a nod to the Gnu (a buffalo-like animal called a wildebeast) because that's the GNU project's mascot and Mastadon is compatable with GNUsocial.
It's still funny how it's a big hairy animal just like all the troons that use it, though.

Claire and the majority of communists on Mastodon aren't necessarily well-versed in Marxist theory for whatever that means, just the buzzwords and scapegoating. Nothing intelligent or thought-provoking comes out of Mastodon's socialist/communist instances, ever. This isn't at all surprising.
