What is a masternode?
A masternode is a node in which a fixed amount of a currency is deposited. Its sort of like an extension of Proof of Stake.
The biggest masternode coin is DASH. DASH masternodes currently cost $370k and print about $70 per 24 hours. DASH masternodes help to make instant transactions possible and some other shit.
