All discussion of the candidates, updates and results should go here

For example- here's a video of Ted Cruz vying for world domination.

Also Hilary Clinton is a crook and nobody should have sex with her.

Discuss

(Note- The title will change as we get nearer the election, previous titles will be archived in the OP)

Twitter is pretty shameless about who they support. You can't even fully make these ads go away, just "dismiss" them.

I would've said the same thing had this time last year someone told me a meme would be a serious topic on a candidates website and a crazy right-wing infowars conspiracy theory would seem to actually be true. Anything can happen.

For real. Remember how during the Republican primary debates one candidate insinuated another had a small dick? I thought that was crazy but it barely registers now. Remember how on the first night of the GOP convention, in response to the accusations of plagiarism, some official quoted My Little Pony verbatim and cited the character that said it by name? Then we have what appeared to be a full on Weekend at Bernie's scenario with Clinton leaded against a pole before being dragged unconscious into a van. This of course followed by the infamous Pepe and Deplorables comments.

I fully expect something meme worthy coming out of this.

Well, yeah. That one is promoted, meaning they were paid to show it. Says right there at the bottom.

Results on in and most people think that Hillary won the debate.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/27/politics/hillary-clinton-donald-trump-debate-poll/

Hillary Clinton was deemed the winner of Monday night's debate by 62% of voters who tuned in to watch, while just 27% said they thought Donald Trump had the better night.

However this means nothing as Obama under performed in his first debate against Romney and still won the presidency, but it goes without saying that Trump has a significant amount of work to do for the next debate.

Also please note that these results are not indicative of the voter base.

Yeah, I would like it if we could collaborate data from both left and right wing sources. The Truth is most likely in the middle.

"Winning" the debate is a subjective answer that depends on what the most polls say. If the most polls say Candidate X won over Candidate Y, then even if Candidate Y had an objectively superior performance, Candidate X gets the advantage of the debate. So, if more sources other than the Clinton News Network say Trump lost the debate, The Donald is in a bit of trouble.

Breitbart says Hillary won.

Yeah the trannies are taking over now. Things are gettting...

Intersectional :P

Tbh its only the first debate. It could go either way in future debates.

Trump has a theory he underperformed last night and its a doozy

Lol what a cuck :story:

He underperformed because he did no prepwork before hand.

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/24/us/politics/presidential-debate-hillary-clinton-donald-trump.html

Mr. Trump, in turn, is approaching the debate like a Big Man on Campus who thinks his last-minute term paper will be dazzling simply because he wrote it.

He has paid only cursory attention to briefing materials. He has refused to use lecterns in mock debate sessions despite the urging of his advisers. He prefers spitballing ideas with his team rather than honing them into crisp, two-minute answers.

It really explains the giant rambling answers that devolved into rants about Mexicans and China.

Read the full article it explains a lot.
