If I was at an event about to nominate Hillary, I'd protest too tbh.

On topic, Bernie's speech seemed pretty good. Acknowledged his supporters efforts and his differences with Clinton, but stressed that the party platform has moved to left. And that no one in the room wants Trump.
 
Now Snowden is throwing in his two cents, about the possibility of Russian interference and it doesn't look good either way.

One way would be to listen to the person who should know all about this stuff: Edward Snowden. This is what he said earlier today on Twitter:

So, if anyone can find out who broke in to the DNC servers, it would be the fucking NSA, if they are editing stuff, that could point to Assange bluffing, he never was one for showmanship even if he is a dickhead. Could be a start...Christ this could turn into a shit Tom Clancy novel. One candidate is basically Nixon 2.0, and the other is buddy buddy with one of America's oldest enemies. This shit still has to get to the fucking debates too...
Edit: Can any tech-geeks explain how you hide and restore origin of attacks? Is it reverse Tor? Would be good to know
 
Say what you will, but I think this is a good thing. It's a fitting reward for shitty behavior. As long as the protestors don't riot (I don't have my hopes up, it's a four day event and they are fucking pissed), it does send the message. I don't believe it was be completely futile, it's already forced some changes. Staffers were replaced, apologies issued. Even it was just a show, it did force them to not act like if everything was okay.

Still, this shouldn't be a surprise. Sanders was already backing Hillary.

EDIT: Also, it shouldn't be a surprise that Sander's backers don't want to back Hillary. You really can't expect them to go out and say "okay fine, we'll vote for her", especially when a huge email leak showed that the DNC was favoring Hillary from the start.

I'm not holding my breath.

I have no illusions that anything meaningful will change--unless Hillary is defeated by Trump in the election. That might stir the Democrats to change their ways more in line with what most of Sanders' bunch wishes for.

Might be possible. I'm no expert, but I can see either third parties fragmenting the Democrats, voters protesting by not voting (which is how the Republicans got so many seats in the last election) or hell could even freeze over and Bernie voters could vote for Trump out of spite. Oh, and it's funny reading over the media about Sander's speech of unity, like if it'll placate the increasingly angry mob. I'll be surprised if there's no riots by the end of this.

Voting anyone other than Hillary is an explicit vote for Trump, whom I've been informed this evening has no plan, no talent and might, in fact, murder the elderly in his spare time.

It is useless to say what caused a loss before we even see exit polls, but I would agree if millennials were suicidal enough, they would stay home, or try and go all in with a candidate that would need to win both Democrat and Republican strongholds (California, Texas and New York), plus states like Mississippi, and swing states like Ohio and Florida. They are literally going full retard, and will be the first ones to throw themselves off the buildings should Trump win. I love watching them tussle among themselves as the more whorish unprincipled rational enough to realize just what it is that is at stake. Desperation will set in when Stein leads the few children she leads a stray to be told of the glories of living life in a deep green commune off the grid.
As we have seen, a spanking by Obama in 08 wasn't enough to get the GOP to pick someone that didn't fill the plutocrat so easily.

Especially considering Bernie consistently polled higher against Trump than Hillary did, then they forced this cunt down our throat anyway.
 
I don't think I've ever seen such a spectacle in politics as this election.

I thought GWB was the lowest they could go but man, was I wrong.
